This is a learning activity designed to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills on the essentials of emergency care nursing.

At the end of the seminar, the participants will be able to: 1. Discuss the essentials of emergency care nursing; 2. Discuss the quick health assessment in emergency care setting; 3. Define triage nursing and understand the principles of triage nursing; 4. Identify the nursing care of Burned patients to include care of patients with blast injuries; and 5. Appreciate the role of ER nurses during CPR.

1. Intended participants: Registered Nurses and Nursing Students. 2. Scope and Duration: This shall consist of a total of six (6) hours. 3. Learning Activities: Lecture Discussion 4. A Certificate of Attendance will be given to the participants after completion of the program.
