Director Dr. N.S.Datar has graduated in B.Sc. ( Metallurgical Engineering from BHU and has obtained the post graduate of Dr Ing fom TH Aachen, Germany ) He has experience over 5 decades in metallurgy , steel plants, processing of steel beneficiation of raw materials, spong iron, rare magnets, electrical steels, evaluation of projects. He was Managing Director of Roukela Steel Plant and Director of Research & Development of centre for Iran Steel Sail in Ranchi. He is also independent Director of number of companies. He has received a number of awards, such as Distinguished Alumnus Award from BHU for outstanding contributions to Indian Iron & Steel Industry INDRANIL GOLD medal for MGM Institute of India, Jawahar Award for SAIL for outstanding contribution to RSP Vasvik Award for development of special steels, Das verdienst krauz 1st class form Federal Republic of Germany, Industrial Excellance Award for outstanding services & achievements & contribution from Vice President of Govt. of India.

Mr. Kamineni Suryanarayana

Executive Chairman Mr. Kamineni Suryanarayana is an Engineer, Architect, Industrialist, Technocrat and a Philanthropist. He obtained his Degree in Metallurgy from the reputed Banaras Hindu University, India, in 1959. Qualification: Degree in Metallurgy from Banaras Hindu University, India, in 1959. The biggest Qualification being his Integrity, Commitment and Dedication to work and

the Quest for Excellence, which is the driving force of the Kamineni Group. After Graduation, he joined Rourkela Steel Plant as a Graduate Engineer in the year 1959. He was trained in Kaiser Steel Works, Fontana, California, USA, in 1960-61 in the technology of Steel manufacture. After his return from USA, he worked in the Plate Mill of Rourkela Steel Plant as Production Engineer till 1966. During that period, he was associated with the Heat treatment and Processing of various specialty steels. In his quest for an entrepreneurial career, he quit Rourkela Steel Plant in 1966 and established an independent firm, United Steel Allied Industries in 1966 which later was converted to United Steel Allied Industries Pvt. Ltd. (USAIPL), for fabrication and erection of Heavy Structural Engineering Projects for Power Plants, Steel Plants, and Technological Pipe Lines for Steel Plants. Mr. Kamineni Suryanarayana promoted Oil Country Tubular Limited (OCTL) in Technical collaboration with Baker Tubular Services / Baker Hughes Tubular Services, Houston, USA, in 1986 as an integrated manufacturing facility for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) covering Drill Pipes, Production Tubing and Casing Pipes to International Standards. OCTL is a leading manufacturer and exporter of OCTGs. The Company is accredited with ISO Certification and Licensed to use the American Petroleum Institute (API) Monogram on various products manufactured. He is the Executive Chairman of Oil Country Tubular Ltd. In year 2007, United Seamless Tubulaar Pvt. Ltd. (UST), a Seamless Pipe Manufacturing facility was envisaged and is now under production for the manufacture of seamless pipes used in the Oil Exploration activities, covering Casing / Tubing/ Drill Pipes/ and Line Pipes, having a capacity of 300,000 MTPA. The Facility is licensed by American Petroleum Institute (API) and is ISO certified. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of United Seamless Tubulaar Pvt. Ltd. During the year 2009, USAI Forge Pvt. Ltd., a completely automated forging facility for the manufacture of Tool Joints for Drill Pipes was established with a capacity of 25,000 MTPA. Taking it forward, in the year 2010, Kamineni Steel and Power India Pvt. Ltd. (KSPIPL) for the manufacture of Alloy Round Bars/ Billets and also Power Generation was visualized and the construction works have started with the goal to commence the operations by 2013. Under his guidance, the Kamineni Group diversified its activities from Infrastructure to Manufacturing Industries/ Hospitals/ Medical and Health care/ and Education.

Mr. Sridhar Kamineni

Managing Director

Mr. Sridhar Kamineni graduated from BITS, Pilani, Rajasthan, with B.E. (Hons.) Civil Engineering in the year 1987. Subsequently, he graduated with a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University,Lubbock, Texas, and also with a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

He had undergone training in OCTG manufacturing facilities in Houston, USA, soon after his graduation and has been associated with the Company since 1992. He was appointed as Director (International Operations) for a period of 5 years in the year 1997 and subsequently appointed as Joint Managing Director for a period of 5 years in the year 2004. From October 2009, he has been appointed as Managing Director of the Company.

Mr. K.G.Joshi

Director (Technical) Mr. K G Joshi is a qualified Engineer with Honours Degree having wide and varied experience. He has held various senior positions in the Public Sector for over 30 years and is associated with OCTL since inception. He was appointed as Director (Technical) in the year 1997.

Dr. T S Sethurathnam

Director Dr. T S Sethurathnam is a veteran from Indian Audit and Accounts Service of Government of India. He was associated with the Kandla port at the time of its construction as Financial Auditor before he joined the MPSEB. After having held senior positions, he retired as Chairman with the status equivalent to that of Chief Secretary. After retirement he served in Power Finance Corporation, Chairman of Bombay Suburban Electric Supply Company. He also served as Consultant to Houston Industries Ltd., US based electric supply and gas Company for its Indian Operations. He is also a Director / Nominee Director in various Companies and has proven managerial and administrative capabilities. He has been associated with the Company for over 21 years.

Mr. K.V.Ravindra Reddy

Director Mr. K V Ravindra Reddy is an expert in Corporate Legal affairs. He retired as Chief General Manager (Legal) in Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation and has rich experience in Corporate Business, Administration and Management. He is a Director on the Board of Directors of the Company for over 21 years

Datuk Syed Hisham bin Syed Wazir

Director Datuk Syed Hisham bin Syed Wazir graduated from Plymouth University, England with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1979 and earned his Master of Business Administration from the Ohio State University of USA in 1996, where he received the Beta Gamma Sigma award of the University. Datuk Syed Hisham bin Syed Wazir is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Motor Industry, UK, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma of Ohio University as well as a member of the Ohio University Alumni Society in Malaysia. He has had a distinguished career in senior management positions spanning over 27 years. Datuk Syed Hisham bin Syed Wazir was appointed as the new President & Group CEO of UMW Holdings Berhad Group, Malaysia, with effect from 1 October 2010 in place of Dato' Abdul Halim. UMW Group has Oil and Gas Division dealing with Oil and Gas Exploration activities. Datuk Syed Hisham Bin Syed Wazir was appointed as Additional Director of the Company pursuant to Section 260 of the Companies Act, 1956 on 21st October 2010. In terms of applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 and Articles of Associations of the Company, his term of office as Additional Director expires at the conclusion of the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
