Programs... POWERPREP ... POWERPREP GMAT =========================================================== -Accessing the GMAT Web Site On your task bar click on Start ... Programs ... POWERPREP ... GMAT Web Site to access www.gmat.org ============================================================ -Running in Full Screen Mode If you have never run your operating system with the display set to 640 X 480 pixels, GMAT POWERPREP will not run in full screen mode. To set the display click on Start ... Settings ... Control Panel ... Display. Click on the Settings tab. Before making any changes, write down your current display settings. Under Desktop Area slide the pointer until 640 by 480 pixels is displayed. Click on: Apply ... OK ... OK. You should now follow the above directions and reset your display to the previous settings you wrote down. The 640 X 480 pixels display has now been defined for use by GMAT POWERPREP. ============================================================ -Changing the Timing of the Test If you have suspended tests that you have quit without completing, you should not use the Timing Accommodations to change the timing of the tests. If you change the timing, you should re-start suspended tests from the beginning. =============================================================

-Replacing the GMAT POWERPREP Icon If you delete the GMAT POWERPREP icon after installing the software, see your Windows manual for information about how to add a program item. Enter the following information in the Program Item Properties dialog box if you accepted the default directories when you installed the POWERPREP software: Target: C:\ETS\PPGMAT\PPREP\PPREP.EXE PPGMAT Start In: C:\ETS\PPGMAT\PPREP Click on Change Icon and enter the following information: File Name: C:\ETS\PPGMAT\PPGMAT\PPGMAT.EXE When you installed GMAT POWERPREP, if you did not do a default install and specified a different directory, replace C:\ETS in the above commands with the directory you specified. ============================================================ -Uninstalling GMAT POWERPREP Before uninstalling you should delete the contents of C:\ETS\PPGMAT\PPGMAT\EPR Click on Start ... Settings ... Control Panel ... Add/Remove Programs ... Select: POWERPREP GMAT and click on Add/Remove button. ============================================================ -Review Explanations for the Questions in your Test Immediately following the test, POWERPREP allows you to review explanations for the questions you received. If you wish to review these explanations, allow yourself enough time to complete both the test and the review. Once you exit the test, you will not be able to review these explanations; however, you can review the questions and answers at a later time. Like the GMAT, the tests in POWERPREP contain a number of questions that do not count toward your scores. These questions will not be displayed when you review explanations for the questions in your test. ============================================================
