PURPOSE
Outline a basic plan for writing, playing live and recording 15 + original songs to be
ultimately recorded and made available for sale or distribution by Compact disc and/or
iTunes by December 15, 2007

STRATEGY
• Write 15+ songs for album consideration
• Record all songs live off the floor as scratch tracks
• Record 1-3 songs and bring to a pro tools studio and have an engineer play around
with them and make suggestions
• Continue to gig; play originals live every night
• Multi track record all songs and song ideas
• Agree on 12+ songs to go on an album/ 12 new songs + 3 old (BrickTop, Postcard
and Deny You) to make 15 for the album.
• Minimum running time: 46 minutes
• Maximum running time: 72 minutes
• Choose an album title
• Mixdown with the help of an experienced engineer
• Master with reputable mastering house
• Create CD Art work including dedications
• Press 1000+ copies for promo, sales and distribution

PLAYAS
Hungry Monkey are:
Jean Francois Asselin
Stanton LeFort
Dave Leroux
Kevin Roach
Robin Sutherland

Other Contributors/Potential Contributors

Ray Hession - Songwriting credits on applicable songs/If he will let us use his 12
string/backups
Mark Leroux (Lyrics) - Walk in the shadows/A Lover of You/other riffs. Also Mark will
play bongos unlike another percussionist I know. I guess we could just get Sophia to do
it... ;-)
Andria Barry (Lyrics) - Various lyrics here and there, mostly from Dave’s collection of
riffs
Karen Brown (?) - Song writing credits for anything taken from the Unscarred
catalogue/if we need a female voice for recording specifically Wishsong 2004
Alan Brown (?) - Stunt guitarist/producer all around good guy if required
Gord St Clair - Sound/Gear Consult
Mike Yelle - Sound/Gear Consult
