Bashde.org has two missions: First and foremost, we exist to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through streaming continuous, uplifting, worshipful Armenian Christian music and scripture 24/7. Our second mission is to help emerging artists (through sponsorships & scholarships) produce creative Armenian Christian programs, music, and songs that will glorify the One who shed His blood so that we may have eternal life. bashde.org is non-denominational. It is the voice of all Armenian Christians. Sako and Salpi Keleshian

The following article is written by Sako and Salpi Keleshian. Their music and worship ministry has been a blessing throughout the world. In this article Sako and Salpi share how the Holy Spirit worked through their ministry in Glendale, during their 3-day ministry where many came to know the Lord joyfully as their personal Savior. This took place in October of 2010. 2011 was a year of reaping. We went to Sydney, Australia in January and had three blessed days of ministry followed by five nights of evangelistic evenings. In this warm, but small community we echoed praises for His glory and the Lord spoke through Salpis singing. In July 2011 we had a wonderful conference in northern Amsterdam with Armenian emigrants, where many found peace with Christ. We beseech our brothers and sisters in Christ to join our prayer chain and to approach together the throne of His grace and ask Him to bless us with His leadership, power and blessings that many will be touched by His Spirit. May the voice of the Armenian spiritual songs broadcast on bashde.org bring encouragement, renewal, and healing to Armenians throughout the World. My husband and I spend our workday tending to customers as we listen to Christian music on bashde.org. Its convenience and excellent choice of songs is such a blessing compared to the limited genre we had previously when we listened to recorded music on cassettes and cds. However, we are not the only ones blessed through this Internet radio ministry. On numerous occasions we have observed customers listen to the music playing in the background and then curiously inquire about it. At times those who recognize a song in play would be inspired to sing along with it. As a result we have been able to spread the news about bashde.org to those we come into contact with. The good mood that the beautiful songs produce in us and the inner peace reflected on our faces prompt many to ask for the source of our joy. We respond by saying that we are saved in Christ and are freed from the bondage of sin. That is why we are eternally happy. Christian music facilitates communion with the Lord throughout the day filling our hearts with peace. We thank the Lord for your time and effort and for taking on this immensely important service spreading His word through music for all to hear. Bashde.org has been a great blessing! We use it as an instrument to witness for Christ. You are always in our prayers.

Hearing the Word of God in Armenian in Brazil

It was December 2009 when I received a phone call from San Paulo, Brazil. On the other end was an Armenian man with a Portuguese accent greeting me and asking me whether I was the one who was reading Scripture in Armenian. I told him that I did read Scripture in Armenian and it was broadcast on two websites namely bashde.org and the Armenian Brotherhood Bible Churchs of New Jersey. He had heard it on the latter website and was touched. Somehow he had found my phone number and he wanted to thank me personally. He was very excited and emotional about this experience. Let me explain. Garo Aharonian was born in Haifa, Palestine. When he was three years old, his family migrated to Brazil. He did not learn to read and write Armenian but he did understand spoken Armenian. He became a Christian when he was 10 years old. Since then his faith grew, he got married, had children and became active at the Armenian Brotherhood Church of San Paulo. Garo dreamed about reading the Bible in Armenian. I could not believe what I heard on the web-radio, Garo told me, this is a dream come true! This new experience, hearing the Word of God in Armenian, excited him. I open my Portuguese Bible, while I hear the Armenian reading on the website, he says. I never imagined this would happen one day; I always had desire to hear the Word of God in ARMENIAN. He was a different man. He was experiencing Gods presence in a different way. Two languages were simultaneously speaking to his mind and heart. At the end of the conversation I told him about bashde.org. He was happy to know that he could also hear Armenian Christian music on the internet. Since that day, Garo is a faithful listener of bashde.org. He has called me several times and Ive sent him copies of Bashdes Scripture Readings DVD and CD. God is so good! I did not know that His Word in the Armenian language would go all the way to Brazil to touch and bless a man of God who all his life had the desire to hear Gods Word in his native language. I called Garo a few days ago. He thanked bashde.org for the radio ministry. He listens and tells his friends about it. May God be glorified. Rev. Nerses Balabanian
