Worked in Virtusa Pvt. Ltd My work was to completely rebuild, restructure the entire technical writing standards and guidelines, so that all the documents can be drafted following the updated guidelines and standards. Recommendations I made that were accepted by the Virtusa itself included:

Completely modified and produced fresh guidelines including font style, size and template which also include writing style, usage of words and sentence structure. Inserted the terminologies, TOC and TOF for documents which fall on a number of pages.

Worked in Infosys Technologies Ltd for Coromandal Infotech (formerly known as IC Infotech) I was involved in restructuring the guidelines. Initially, the scope of the project was to convert the existing documents to the modified or restructured information following the guidelines. I worked for their own product called Finacle Solution CRM/EBanking, Core for the client URALZIP (Russia). The work involved in: o Creation of master templates from which all kinds of documents were drafted User Manuals/Guides Operational Guides Product Manuals Online help o Creation of guidelines from which all the documents needs to be amended. o Reproducing all of the diagrams and figures that were corrupt or unstable. o Recreating all tables to ensure no corruption from previous versions was transferred. o Using predetermined styles throughout the documents to ensure consistency or standardisation of the existing documents. o Participated in workshops o Investigating past amendments to the current and previous documents to ensure they were updated correctly, when discrepancies were found. o Creating and maintaining an Amendments Log detailing every change that was made during this project. o Strong time management skills by delivering quality work and ability to prioritize o Taken care of UI conventions for all Finacle CRM/E-Banking/Core Solutions. o Completely took control of all the modules (approx 25 modules for each solution) in all forms with thorough interaction with the clients and development team. o Created a document mentioning the defects in the application which helped the testers and developers to rectify it.
