Visit the Louvre Museum The famous glass pyramids are the main entrance to the Louvre Museum. To avoid the queue, enter Louvre through Carrousel du Louvre entrance, 99, rue de Rivoli or Porte des Lions, 14, Quai Francois Mitterand. The Louvre is open 9am to 6pm all days except Tuesdays, January 1st, May 1st, November 11th, December 25th. It is open until 10 pm on Wednesday and Friday.

Versailles tours from Paris If you come to Paris for at least two days, don't miss the Palace of Versailles and its superb park. It takes half a day and 36 euros to visit Versailles on a tour from Paris. Prefer the full day visit if you can. Avoid Tuesdays when Versailles is crowded. If you want to go on your own, consider metro or train for the Paris to Versailles trip or book a taxi.
