Master of Arts in Education, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI: 2010 - 2012. 3.9 GPA. Studied curriculum, pedagogy, educational inquiry and the history of education. Learning and technology concentration: researched educational technology tools and their role in education. Created a PLC online with like-minded educators, which transformed to www.studydesigned.com. Bachelor of Science in Biology, University of North Carolina Asheville, Asheville, NC: 2008 - 2010 Received a full-tuition scholarship as a Burroughs Wellcome Fellow. Completed science, liberal arts, and teacher education coursework. Received a full grant as a Fellow to attend the Brandeis Collegiate Institute in 2009. Attended the Burroughs Wellcome Foundation annual conference in 2011. Traveling with the Burroughs Wellcome Foundation to Singapore in the summer of 2012.
