TNCA Players Registration is compulsory. The TNSCA registration fee for the year 2010-11 is Rs.70/-. The TNSCA registration forms duly signed and submit along with the Date of Birth Certificate copy and one passport size photograph. Entries without TNSCA registration will be rejected. Those who have already paid this fee should send copy of proof. The registration forms will be available at the venue. Chess Board: The participants are required to bring their own International chess sets and Chess Clock (and Chess Clock if, any). Merit Certificate: All Players will get participation certificates. Tie Break: Buchholz tie-break rules will be applied. Decision: The Arbiters decision shall be Final and Binding on all participants. The organizer Avadi Chess center/ TNSCA reserves the right to Admit/refuse any entry without assigning any reason thereof. The organizer Avadi Chess Center/ TNSCA reserve the rights of Admission to the venue /lodging places. Discipline: In-disciplined players inside the school premises will be debarred from the Tournament. The unconsumed food particles and other wasted eatables including fruit skins must be deposited in the dustbin only.

System of play: The Tournament shall be played under FIDE Rapid rule (30 minutes each). Schedule of play: The first round will commence at 11.00 a.m. on 04-09-2010. The number of rounds and round-wise schedule shall be Announced at the tournament hall.

Entries received after 01-09-2010 will be subject to a late fee of Rs.100/- No entry will be entertained after the last date. However spot entries will be allowed to take part provided they pay Rs.100/- as late fee and they will be allowed to take part from the second round with a half point bye for the first round.
