LIFES LEARNING POINTS FOR US?

1. Lead your family to be clearly identified with God. You need to be a part of a church family more than a church family needs you. Why? Because its a statement to your children, that youre growing down roots there. And when you grow those roots down, leave them down. 2. Lead each member of your family to an understanding of salvation. Does your child understand why Christmas is so special? Its not about the presents and the family gatherings. Its not about pretty decorations and seasonal music. Its about salvation. Its about Gods provision for sin. 3. Lead your family in a regular practice of your faith. In a way of worshipping the Lord, have you done something extraordinary with your family? Have you included worship opportunities on your vacation schedule? Have you visited a place of spiritual importance, or gone on a spiritual retreat? Maybe you could take your children, or your grandchildren, to the place where you were baptized, the next time youve got the opportunity. What a wonderful opportunity to share the reason for baptism, at that moment. 4. Be sure your family sees you enjoying your relationship with God. Theres no better way for you to share your faith with your children, or your grandchildren, than to simply enjoy your walk with God. Dont complain about every little thing. Enjoy the experience!

Thanks be to God for his unspeakable Gift indescribable, inestimable, incomparable inexpressible - precious beyond words. Lois LeBar
