The gospel is open and revealed to everyone, except to those who refuse to believe. Many Christians struggle with witnessing to others because they fear ridicule and rejection. Paul expected rejection from the spiritually blind.

II. EXALT THE LORD V. 5A

Only a Lord greater than "the god of this age" can set someone free. I am powerless, but He is powerful! As I have the opportunity, I want to share Christ into all of my conversations and interactions with nonChristians. He is the "Light of the World".

III. EMBRACE SERVANTHOOD V. 5B

People sometimes may disappoint you, but as a servant it requires a sacrifice of time and personal desires. A servant spirit will adorn efforts to share Christ.

IV. EXPERIENCE TRUTH V. 6

He begins by "enlightening" the blinded mind to see and accept Jesus Christ as revealed in the scriptures.

V. EXHIBIT CHARACTER VV. 7-10

When you and I hurt deeply, what we really need is not an explanation from God but a revelation of God. We need to see how great God is; we need to recover our lost perspective on life. Things get out of proportion when we are suffering, and it takes a vision of something bigger than ourselves to get life's dimensions adjusted again. Warren W. Wiersbe

Persons living in darkness can see the difference in you. Notice that the life of Christ is often revealed through the reactions to difficult life circumstances. You may be experiencing incredible pressures in your life. Let me encourage you to: A. Trust Jesus completely and lean on Him for help; and B. Let people get close to you, don't withdraw from the world.
