Click on the Manage Privileges link. The Privilege Administration window opens.
2. Scroll down to the Answers section in Privilege Administration window. Locate the Execute Direct Database Requests privilege.

3. Click on (not permitted). The next Change Privilege Permissions window opens click on the Show users and groups link.
4. Will show all the users and groups in the current window Change Privilege Permissions.

Privilege Administration window Click Close Window in the Oracle BI Presentation Services Administration window. 6. Create a simple request in Oracle Business Intelligence Answers to compare the results of this request with the results of a direct database request.
8. Create and execute a direct database request click Create Direct Request on the Answers start page. Enter Connection Pool in the Connection Pool field with the double quotation marks. This is the name of the connection pool specified in the Physical layer of the repository. 9. Enter the SQL statement in the SQL Statement field. Click Validate SQL and Retrieve Columns and verify that the appropriate columns appear under Result Columns. Here column 2 is for UNIT_SALES its not showing its name but data type is showing, this doesn`t
