Introduction:
Since Old Testament times the dance has been a means of praise to the Lord
used by his people and through the word we can see the benefits of it; it has
been used for the celebration of great victories or preparation for the
conquest of some. In our Lord we have constant victories and triumphs,
because in Him, we are more than conquerors, so why not dance?
Through dance we can outwardly express our inner relationship with Jesus.
When we dance for Him, our heart speaks to Him through movement.
Dancing for us Christians is a form of worship with which we thank the
Almighty for his mercy and grace towards us. With our dance we
demonstrate our joy to Almighty God and minister to his people by making
his message known through our steps.
We hope with all our hearts that this material will be of great blessing and
provide the necessary knowledge for all those dancers around the world who
seek to strengthen or start their dance ministry.
Dance:
Dance is the execution of movements that are
performed with the body, mainly with arms and
legs, according to a rhythm that you want to
follow. In the context of Christian dance is an
expression of worship to God, and these
movements express praise to Him, joy of the
people or also a message to the people revealed
by the Holy Spirit.
- Luke 15: 1
- 2 Samuel 6:14
Purposes Of Dance
To be instruments of worship to God.
Edification of God's people and the one who is ministering.
Preparation of the people for battles. Evangelization through dance.
The heart of the worshiper must be a whole heart for God, not divided, God
is not interested in external things, He is more interested in what is inside
our heart. Hence Jeremiah 17:13-14 tells us:
"The LORD said, Because they forsook my law, which I gave before them,
and obeyed not my voice, neither walked according to it, but went after the
imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, as their fathers taught
them."
Worship lifts the yoke. Worshipping the Lord is for us a filter that cleanses us
of all impurities. It is the fire that refines us like silver or gold, the higher it
is, the more it purifies us and as we enter into the worship of God it deals
with more things that are within us. Ephesians 5:13 points out:
"But all things, when they are made manifest by the light, are made
manifest; for it is the light that makes all things manifest."
Worldly dance glorifies the enemy, the flesh and the world in its expression
of rebellion, sensuality and emotional and spiritual confusion. This dance
produces the opposite of the biblical dance.
Types Of Dance:
SPONTANEOUS DANCE: It is performed freely, delighting in the
presence of the Lord. It is what could be called the vision of what God
wants us to dance, what will minister to the people. It is understood
that the steps are given by God through his Spirit at the moment of
dancing. Also, in this type of dance we have an excellent space to let
loose on a stage and tell Jesus how much we really love Him through
our anointing steps.
DANCE INTERPRETER: They are fixed and fine steps given by God.
This is what God wants us to dance and minister to his people.
Interpretive dance is one of the most beautiful branches of dance that
can exist. They are steps or movements that flow through the ministry
in preparation for our praise to God.
Also known as Israelite; for Jews the dance has always been a prayer
accompanied by music, chanting and the sound of drums that are
divided into three categories:
Dance Interpreter
GOD: We turn around and end with the body bent to the right, facing the
floor, with geometric hands (straight hands, left down, right up).
JESUS: We start in releve (tiptoe) and place our hands straight in fist and
leaving out the index and middle fingers, right side up, extended laterally to
the left.
SAY: To shake hands sideways and forward starting from our mouth and
simulating that the words come out of it and are spread by our hands.
KING: Joining the little finger and thumb on one hand with their respective
partner on the other hand (as if forming a crown) while doing releve and plie.
POWER: Extending our hands upward, one first then the other with fists
clenched in victory.
BEAUTY: With the right hand at face level with the palm open and upward. I
pass my left hand touching my right hand and making a half circle to the left.
BLOOD: Left hand in front and right hand touches left hand in wave.
REST: Leaning forward with a body tilt towards the body towards the right
leg, I pass both hands towards my face as if I were sleeping.
PRAISE: From the bottom upwards opening and closing the arms.
LAMB: I put my left hand out in front, jump and my right hand touches my
left hand and then vice versa.
Dance Preparation
We must keep in mind that we are God's ministers and to present ourselves
at his altar we must be clean, otherwise we will minister impurity and pain to
God's people. This is why our preparation must be both spiritual and
technical.
We must keep in mind that the preparation of a piece must be with great
care, whether it is interpreted or Davidic, we must analyze the lyrics of the
song we want to present, pray and at the same time meditate on its content
and ask ourselves why and for whom I do the dance. What we do has to be
excellent for God, try that if, for example, we raise our hands, it should be

SLIDE: Moving to the right then left. We move the left foot to the left and
then join the right foot with the tip of the toes; with lightness and elegance.

half turn by bringing the left foot to the right and then full turn.
YEMENITE: A very old step. Right foot one step to the right, left foot behind,
right back to the left side. On the right side.
CHERKESIA: I cross my right foot in front of my left foot and put all my
weight on my right leg and lift my left leg. It is accompanied by a jump.
FIRST: Both legs together with the tips of the feet fully outward as shown in
Figure 1.
SECOND: Both legs apart with toes pointing outward. THIRD: One leg
crossed in front of the other, the leg in front with the foot slightly inclined
outward and right in the center of the back foot as shown in the figure.
FOURTH: Maintaining the same position as described in the previous position
but this time sliding the leg in front towards the front, detaching from the
other leg.
FIFTH: It is similar to the third position, it consists of maintaining this
position but taking the front foot not to the center but to the end of the back
foot directing the tip of the foot always outward as shown in the figure
shown.

Key symbols
• Belt: Service
• Gold Belt: Priesthood Service
MANTO
Cloak, tunic, vestment or clothing. The mantles are used in specific moments
where the presence of God is to be highlighted in a creative and special way.
Biblical references:
Isaiah 61:3: "(...) to command that the afflicted of Zion be given glory
instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of gladness
instead of a spirit of anguish; and they shall be called trees of righteousness,
the planting of the LORD, for His glory."
Isaiah 61:10: "I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall exult in my
God: for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered
me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh me, and as a
bride adorneth her jewels."
LILA: Restoration
Mantle Steps
UNCIÓN: We hold the mantle tightly and make several circles over the head.
RELEASE: Consists of presenting the mantle in front combined with the Sha-
Sha while moving the mantle from back to front.
FREEDOM: This step starts to the right or left side, we turn the mantle into a
fist and take three hind steps, and pull it backwards or forwards.
FLOW OF GOD: I present the mantle to the right side and the left hand on
the waist, while the feet do 123 Sha-Sha and repeat to the left side (River of
God).
FIRM: I present the mantle to the right side and turn 4 beats to the right
and to the left (Dominance).

Types Of Reverence:
FORWARD REVERENCE: I present mantle forward with my right foot
forward. Standing on tiptoe (releve).
REVERSE BACK: same as the previous step but with the mantle back in plie
(Inclined).
FOOT STRAIGHT: With the mantle back I turn my body to the right side,
with the foot on tiptoe I prepare to take two steps (right-left) and when I
take the third jump, taking first the right foot fully forward and the left foot
back fully stretched, I land with the left foot forward in plie and repeat the
jump again without taking the steps.
CHRIST IS COMING: I turn my body to the left and in a straight line, then I
take three steps backwards (left-right-left) and when I say the 4th step, I
jump throwing my right foot backwards and turn my back to the front and
when I fall I am back to the front.
BÚFALO'S STRENGTH: I roll up the mantle as when I wring out a cloth and
take it by both ends. I raise the mantle in such a way that my arms are fully
stretched upward. I do two jumps stretching my left foot backwards and my
right foot bent down trying to touch the toe of my right foot to the knee of
my left foot. I fall and make a relay turn keeping the mantle always up.
SALVATION: With the mantle back, jump in chasse, dragging very gently
the right foot doing plie and jump lifting the left leg back, repeat on the left
side.

MANTLE OF JUSTICE:
Tape
"Lift ye up a banner upon a high mountain, lift up
their voice, lift up their hand, that they may enter
into the gates of princes." Isaiah 13:2
The ribbon is a complement to the flag ministry, with the ribbon we declare
victory over the enemy, it is a symbol that identifies us as Christians. By
lifting our ribbon we are lifting up our Lord as the King and sovereign of the
whole universe and we are making known to the world that Christ lives over
his people, the people who rejoice in his salvation. (John 12:32).
Red, orange, yellow, purple, purple, blue, green and silver: The pact
Reverse Glory: One or more circles over the head of the other side.
Anointing: Three circles from top to bottom, from left to right or vice versa.
Blessing: I do 3 battles (right. and left) in the 3rd battle I pull the ribbon to
the left hand I hold it, turn and make two glorias. (Intermediate)
Every tape ministry carries the technique hand in hand with the word of God
so that our praise is pleasing to the sight of the people and of course so that
it burns with anointing. When it is said to be pleasing in the sight of God it is
because we have to dance with excellence, primarily for God and then for the
congregation. Coordination and technical preparation are of utmost
importance as they will provide the group with greater excellence and safety
(Luke 12:30). Only with understanding can we realize the goal of all the arts.
TAPE ROUTINES:
ABBA FATHER:
I turn my body to the left and bring my right hand all the way back
alternating with my left hand. This is repeated in four beats, feet in Sha-Sha,
ending with the left ribbon pointing upward (Romans 8:15).
SAVING POWER:
Battle right, half turn, back battle, gap (cross over-open, cross over-open,
drag back twice), repeat left, jump right (tape pulls to right side), jump left
(tape pulls to left side), turn in horizontal fire and jump to front in fire.

Conclusion:
Throughout the writing of this manual, which is a compilation of concepts
that are shared in the daily life of our ministry, and information from The
Word as well as other materials, we are pleased to have had the initiative to
do so.
Through this work we have the opportunity to bless many people who daily
and insistently write to us in order to obtain all kinds of information about
the dance and to anyone who gets their hands on it. We hope that with it,
the questions will not cease, but that it will be a motive for a greater
eagerness to know and will promote preparation and excellence in the
brothers who have found in dance a means of worship to the Almighty God.
Appendix
CREATIVE EXPRESSION:
This comes from having a private time with God, where we can express
ourselves. Every stroke on our tambourine must have a purpose.
3) The anointing and being a minister in the church. (When your leader or
pastor thinks so)
4) Discipline
5) Love
Our whole body belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, so our hands should also
express the love and strength of the Lord.
The word says in Romans 6:20 "Neither yield your members as instruments
of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are
alive among the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness
unto God.
Victorious Hands
Psalms 18: 34 "Who trains my hands for battle, to strengthen with my hands
the bow of bronze.
Psalm 144:1 "Blessed be the LORD my rock, who trains my hands for battle
and my fingers for war.
God has given us feet to be used as powerful weapons against the enemy in
Mal, 4:2.3 He said: to those who fear me, the sun of righteousness will rise
and in his wings he will bring healing, and you will leap like calves from the
herd. You shall tread down the wicked, and they shall be ashes under the
soles of your feet in the day that I shall act, says the LORD of hosts.
