The floor is the horizontal bottom surface of an architectural space, the "place you walk on". Also, in
colloquial language, the different levels of a building are called floors. Sometimes the term floor is
mistakenly used instead ofslab, which is the horizontal structural element of a floor.
Inarchitecture, the different levels are calledfloors and the materials that make up the upper surface
of each floor are called pavements, including those of the areas outside the building. Both the word
plant and floor arehomonyms.

The objective of this work is to know the main terms and symbols used in the floor levels for the
case of buildings, whether housing, multi-family, condominiums, schools, hospitals, etc.

FALSE FLOOR LEVEL: The false floor is a simple concrete slab that supports and
distributes the loads that will be applied on the floor of the house.
FALSE CEILING LEVEL: False ceilings, ceiling tiles or ceilings are constructive elements
located at a certain distance from the slab orceiling itself.
