(One pleasant morning in March, Alice and her sister were proceeding with
Alice's history class in the field, Alice's sister is heard reading the history
book for Alice, while she plays and is distracted, her sister scolds her .)
Alicia's sister (sitting on the grass, making a gesture of disgust): Alicia! Do
you want to pay attention to your history class?
Alice: There is! How boring! How can I pay attention if that book doesn't have
pictures?
Sister: But what an idea, the best books in this world don't have pictures!
Alicia: In this world maybe, but in my world, the books would have only
drawings!
Sister: Your world? HA! But what nonsense...
Alicia (referring to her cat Diana): That's it! Nonsense, Diana! In my world,
everything would be nonsense... You would be a person, like everyone else, and
in my world, the flowers would sing and the songbirds would dance... (Alice lies
down, while out of the corner of her eye she sees what seems to be running
past. be a white rabbit)
Alicia: ? Ah, but it's just a rabbit... (Turns around excitedly) dressed, and with
a watch! (Alice gets up and runs after the rabbit)
White Rabbit: (excited) I'm late! I'm leaving I'm leaving I'm leaving!
Alice (doubtful): Mmmm, how strange, why can a rabbit be late?
Alice: Mr. Rabbit, Mr. Rabbit! Please wait for me!

SECOND ACT

(The rabbit runs down a long, narrow hallway in a hurry, Alice reaches the
entrance, and hesitates as she enters)

Alice: Mr. Rabbit? You are here? (enters the hallway)(Alicia leaves the hallway
and finds herself in a narrow gallery)
Alicia: Oh, how strange... What could this be? (He is in front of a small
entrance door, much smaller than it should be for this
fit He tries to open the door and a voice is heard.)

Door: Ouch!! (makes a gesture of disgust)

Alicia: Forgive me, but I wanted to go to the other side.

Door: Don't worry, but you're too big to get through here, there's a bottle on
the table, try it.

Alicia: Which table? (suddenly a small table appears behind Alicia with a small
bottle on it)

Door: Read the instructions, it will directly direct you where you want to go.
(Alicia reads the bottle whose instructions say drink me .)

Alice: Well, what's the worst that can happen? (Drinks it) (Alice, with a look
of surprise and horror at the same time, gets smaller and smaller, surprised.)
Alicia (while drinking from the bottle): It tastes like chocolate, cherry, vanilla,
banana, oh my god!
Door: You haven't forgotten the key?
Alicia (stubborn): What key!? He passes to the other side of the door by
force, stumbling.
THIRD ACT
(Alice is already in the forest, looking everywhere to see if she can see the
rabbit, behind her the twins Tweedledum and Tweedledee suddenly appear)
Alice: Where will it be? Is he hiding? Where has he gone? (while he turns to
one side, the twins go the other way)
Alicia: Hmm, it's not here. Where would I go? Well... (she turns around and
finds the twins in front of her again.)
Alicia: Hey, what strange little men! (approaches)
Tweedledum: If you think we are lies, you pay to see us. (nudges Tweedledee)
Tweedledee: If you think we are bad, you have to talk to us
Both: It's logical!
Alicia: Well then, nice to meet you and goodbye!
Tweedledum: Goodbye is the last thing!
Tweedledee: Yes, because the first thing in a visit is a handshake!
(Alicia leaves the stage very absent-mindedly and runs so that the twins do
not entertain her any longer, while they stayed singing. Alice sees the white
rabbit running in front of her, which she quickly follows until she loses sight of
it and finds herself among many bushes. She sees a small mushroom with the
legend eat me in it and eats it, suddenly its size begins to change until it
becomes small)
FOURTH ACT
Alice (Trying to get out of the bushes): I'm so small! I will never be able to
reach this size. But what strange butterflies... (In front of them, a bunch of
butterflies line up on a large leaf and form a pancake)
Rosa Mayor: Do you mean pancake butterflies?
Alice: Yes, pancake! Or what?
(the flowers behind him remain immobilized)
Where did that voice come from? But what nonsense Flowers don't speak.
Rosa Mayor (leaning towards Alicia): Of course we talk, dear.
Lilac flower (Katia, with refined appearance): If someone is worthy of our
attention.
Pastel Pink Flower (Lizeth, looking happy and carefree): Let's loose our
tongues! Hahahahaha! Group of small flowers
(Jessica Lizet, Lizbeth, Ceci, Denisse): And we sing too!
All the flowers: If you want, we will sing you our best song!
Rosa Mayor (begins to move her wand and gives the tone to the flowers, you
can hear in the background that the song begins, the flowers sing and Alice
participates, they finish, Alice applauds)
Alice: Bravo! How gorgeous!
Rosa Mayor: Thank you dear.
Yellow flower and fiusha: And what garden are you from?
Alice: I'm not from any garden.
Fiusha Flower (Towards Rosa Mayor): Maybe it's a field flower!
Alice: I am not a flower of the field.
Senior Rose: Tell us what species, let's say, gender, you come from, dear.
Alicia: Well, I guess I'm of the human race, Alicia!
Yellow flower: Have you seen a flower with a bud like that? And look, what a
crown! What a peculiar smell!
(Alicia looks at herself up and down and Katia grabs her hair to smell it and
make a gesture of displeasure)
Alicia: But I'm not a flower!
Lilac Flower: Aha! But I already suspected it! (whispers to the pink wing): It's
nothing more than a simple, vulgar mobile!
All the flowers (surprised) :There is no!
Alice: A simple one?
Lila Flower: In case it's not clear to you, a herb!!
Alicia: I'm not grass! (crosses arms)(Flowers whisper offensive comments to
each other)
Group of small flowers: I would be unable to admit it!
Yellow flower: (to fiusha flower) He doesn't deserve to be among us!
Group of small flowers: We don't want grass here! Go away!
Alice: They are spoiled! The thing is that they have no education! If I were my
normal height I would rip them off! (Ceci whispers something to Denise and
they point at her)
Elder Rose: Girls, girls, behave! (The yellow flower pushes Alice and she
stumbles forward, the flowers laugh, Alice falls, gets up and leaves.

He begins to walk and soon hears a deep voice reciting out loud the
vocal letters, walk a little further and find a caterpillar on a large mushroom.
Alicia approaches to observe him.)

FIFTH ACT
Caterpillar (yawns): Who are you?
Alicia: Not anymore, sir, it's changed so many times that I don't know
anymore.
Caterpillar: I don't know either, explain yourself.
Alicia: I couldn't explain myself, sir, because I'm not me anymore.
Caterpillar: Have you gotten tangled?
Alicia: I can't explain myself more clearly because I don't understand myself
either.
Caterpillar: You? Who are you!? (The caterpillar releases some kind of dust
that makes Alice sneeze.

Alice: Achu! Ahh (displeased face, leaves).

Caterpillar (screaming): Hey girl! Girl come here! I have something important
to tell you!

Alicia: (returns): What do you want to tell me? What does he want!?

Caterpillar: Don't-be-angry.

Alice: And that's all?!

Caterpillar: No, exactly, that's what worries you.

Alicia: Exatica, esactica, hum, I would like to grow a little more.

(Everything fills with smoke and the caterpillar's shoes appear on the mushroom, she
already lies in the air transformed into a butterfly.
Alice (she still doesn't see that she transformed into a butterfly): Yes, but
let's make it happen... (she turns to the sky and sees the caterpillar wing)
Caterpillar: I have some advice to give you, one side will make you grow, and
the other will make you shrink.
Caterpillar: From the fungus, silly! (the caterpillar leaves)
Alice (goes to the mushroom and takes 1 piece from each side, puts them
away): One side will make me grow but what will it be? I don't mind! (he eats
one of the pieces of the mushroom, it gets too big, he eats the other and gets
smaller until he finds his ideal height): That's good.
SIXTH ACT
Alicia arrives in front of what looked like a small house, perplexed I look at
her. Suddenly a servant appeared and took out a thick envelope from under his
arm, and said in a ceremonious voice:)
Servant: -For the duchess. An invitation from the queen to play croquet. (A
door opened leading directly to a smoky kitchen, the duchess was sitting on a
stool, with a child in her arms. The cook, leaning over the fire, was stirring
something that looked like soup with a ladle. The servant left the envelope on
the floor and left. There in the corner was Chester's cat, lying down, smiling. )
Alicia (shy): Could you tell me, why does that cat smile that way?

Duchess: Because it's a Chester cat, that's why.

Alice (animated): I didn't know that Chester's cats smiled, I didn't even know
that cats could smile.
Duchess: Well, yes they can, and most of them do. Now, don't bother me, or
I'll have your head cut off. (The cook stirred and stirred and seemed truly
and strangely furious. Alicia comes out scared)
ACT SEVEN

Let's see where I came from? Here they point out so many paths (she sees a
tree in which there are many indications of different paths, she turns in all
directions and walks a little, she looks out from all sides and hears a voice
behind her, she turns around.)

Cat: Were you looking for something? (the cat appears standing with one hand
leaning on a tree, staring at Alice and with the big smile that represents him)

Alicia: Hehehe, no, it was just me...

Cat: It doesn't matter.hahaha

Alicia: But, you're nothing more than a cat!

Cat: A cat, laugh!

Alicia: I just want to know which path I should take.

Cat: Well, it depends, where you want to go.

Alicia: That doesn't matter, if you

Cat (interrupts Alice): Then it doesn't really matter which path you choose!
(The cat walks in front of Alice, getting in her way, laughing, stops on another
tree to talk to her.
Cat: Oh, I forgot, but if you're interested, it went that way (puts one hand
between his ears and with the other points the direction the white rabbit
took)

Alice: Who?

Cat: The White Rabbit.

Alice (bowing): Really?

Cat: Really what?

Alicia: He's gone!

Cat: Who?

Alice (disgusted): The rabbit!

Cat: Which rabbit? (smiling)

Alicia: But you just told me that there is God! (cross the arms)

Cat: Well, if I were looking for a white rabbit, I would ask the mad hatter!
(points with his finger to a sign that indicates where the hatter is)

Alice: To the mad hatter? No nono, better not, (shaking with hands and head)

Cat: Oh, there's the hare, on this side (points to the opposite side of the sign)

Alicia: Thanks, I think I'll go visit her.

Cat: You can go, although I warn you that she is also crazy!

Alicia: But I don't want to have any dealings with crazy people!
Cat: Oh, you can't help that! Here, almost everyone is crazy! Hahahahaha (he
loses his breath and takes it) you may notice that I don't have it all with me
(points to his stripes) hahahaha...
(The cat disappears)

Alicia: My God, you better be nice to these people, apparently they're all
crazy...
ACT EIGHTH

(Alice walks and meets the hatter and company's tea party, she approaches.
At the table are the Hatter and the March Hare, singing their unbirthday
song)

Mad Hatter and March Hare (singing): Happy Happy Birthday! Happy Happy
Birthday I give you!!!

March Hare: Happy happy unbirthday!

Hatter: To me??

Hare: To you!! Happy happy unbirthday! Let's celebrate the day with 2 cups of
good tea!

The 2: Happy happy no birthday to you!! (Alicia looks at them strangely, they
finish singing and she applauds. They notice her presence, and that she is
sitting in one of their chairs.)

Hatter and Hare: There is no place, there is no place, don't sit down!!

Alicia: But there are many empty places.

Hare: (speaking very quickly) Aaa but he shouldn't have sat down without being
invited!

Hatter: It's lack of education! Very bad, very bad manners! Ha!

Alicia: Excuse me, I really liked how you sang and I would like to know if you
Hare (interrupts Alice): Do you think we sing well?

Hatter: There is! What a lovely little girl! (puts her elbows on the table) we
invite you a cup of tea!

Hare: Oh yeah, a cup of tea! (takes the teapot and a cup and serves Alicia
elte)

Alice: I would love to, but I have to interrupt his birthday party (the hare
gives him his cup) thank you!

Hare: (takes the cup from Alice) Birthday? My dear girl, this is not a birthday!

Hatter: Of course not! This is the unbirthday party!

Alice: No birthday? Forgive me, but I don't understand you.

Hare: Look, a non-birthday is hahaha he doesn't know what a non-birthday is!

Hatter: How silly! (laughs maniacally covering his mouth) Well, I'll teach you.
Imagine that you have a birthday, every year.

Hare: But you have 364 non-birthday days left! And they are precisely the
ones we celebrate here!

Alicia: So, it's also my unbirthday today!

Hare: Really? Hatter: How small this world is!

Hare (singing): Happy happy birthday!

Alice: Me?

Hatter: To you!

Hare: Happy Happy birthday!

Alice: For me?

Hatter: For you!

Both: Happy happy birthday to you!!

Hatter: Now, dear, how did you say? What were you looking for who? (takes a
cup of tea and drinks it)

Alicia: Oh yes, I wanted to know the whereabouts of

Hare (interrupting Alice): Whose, whose?! Come on girl! Speaks

Alicia: Well, I can't speak if they're interrupting me.

Hare: Interrupting? Who is interrupting you? Careful! He has symptoms of

madness! (stands behind the hatter)

Alice: Madness? If you are the crazy ones! Besides, I'm leaving! Because I
don't want to waste time! (Alicia leaves, walks a little, and, confused, says out
loud)

Alicia: I'm tired of seeing nonsense! They don't make fun of me! I'm going
home. That white rabbit, I don't care where he went! Well, if I came this way,
I have to return this way.

ACT NINTH

(Alicia walks without finding a way out, and sits on a log wanting to sob. Behind
him comes the cat, who in a mocking tone asks him)

Cat: Who are you waiting for? To the white rabbit, perhaps?

Alicia: No, I don't want you to talk to me about him! I want to go! But I don't
know where!

Cat (playing with his hands): Of course you don't know, because nobody here
knows anything. You can only know what the Queen orders! (this last sentence
with a macabre tone)
Alice: But I've never seen a queen!

Cat: What? It's not possible! Aaah you're going to like it a lot! You're going to
love it! Hahahaha

Alice: Where is the queen?

Cat: Sometimes this way (pointing with his finger to the left) and sometimes
this way (pointing to the right) come follow me!

ACT TEN

place to another impatiently)

They form horizontally and one of them shouts get ready! And they begin to
count each other from 1 to 10. Alicia looks at them. The rabbit passes through
the aces)

Alice: The rabbit!

Rabbit: With you your most serene highness! Your Majesty! The queen of
hearts! (The queen enters, holding her dress with one hand and holding her fan
with the other. Praise is heard. The king enters and pokes the rabbit with his
fan, telling him to present it to him.)

Rabbit (disheartened): And the king. (a poor voice is heard in the background
while the king greets saying hurrah!)

Queen of Hearts: And what is this?

king: Let me see my queen, (she holds Alice's chin with her fan) she doesn't
look like a two, nor does she look like a three.

Queen: Aaa, it's a little girl. (With a kind gesture) Tell me, dear, where you
come from, and where you are going.
Alicia: Well, I wanted to know.

Queen (angry): Know??!! Nobody here knows more than me!

Alice: I know, your royal majesty. But I wanted to know if

Queen: I'm the one asking! Do you know how to play croquet?

Alice: Yes, your royal majesty.

Queen: Let the game begin!

(Everyone gets ready for the game of croquet, but the queen falls to the
ground because of one of the tiles and they blame Alice.)

Alice: There is no!

(the cards are arranged around the queen so that she gets up and when she
grabs it, she screams angrily):

Queen: The culprit's head will roll! Tuuu! (pointing to Alicia) You went! Cut off
his head!!!

Alice: Your royal majesty! You are not even a queen! She's just a fat,
conceited, and very rude old woman!

Queen: Cut off his head!!!

ELEVENTH ACT

(The cards, the queen, the king, all the characters are chasing Alice when she
suddenly falls, and finds herself asleep in the place where her sister gave her
her history class, apparently everything was nothing more than a dream.)

Alicia's sister: Alicia, Alicia, don't be sleeping anymore!

Alice (wakes up): But Mr. Caterpillar! And Mr. Rabbit!

Alice's sister: Mr. rabbit? It's useless, come on, it's time for dinner.
(They leave, the play ends.)
