About the conference

We are proud and delighted to organize the 3"d International Conference on Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) at VIT University during November17-18, 2011. This conference shall provide a forum for the exchange of ideas amongst the eager and budding scientists, engineers and technologists in the country and outside, besides providing a common platform to demonstrate their research capabilities. This conference is also expected to motivate the participants to deliberate on frontier areas of science, engineering and technology. Furthermore, they can utilize this opportunity to benchmark their focus areas in research and to provide cost-effective, targeted technologies, to address the problems affecting society. While high-throughput technologies are available, dwindling resources, coupled with the burgeoning problems faced by humanity, provide an impetus for the bright young minds to prioritize their research activities. This event will also enable the young scientists, engineers and technologists to network amongst like-minded individuals and to improve the visibility of their research endeavors, apart from honing their soft skills. The conference will cover the following disciplines in science, engineering and technology: Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, Automotive Engineering, CAD/CAM, Mechatronics, Automotive Electronics, Electronics, Computer Sciences, Software Technology, Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and, Information Technology (networking), Nanotechnology, Power Electronics and Drives, Sensor System Technology, VLSI Design, Applied Microbiology, Biomedical Genetics, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, General Engineering, Social Sciences and Languages. Students and research scholars from India and abroad are invited to participate. Your visit to VIT University would provide an ideal opportunity for you to experience the world-class infrastructural facilities available in the campus apart from a chance to interact with faculty members trained in reputed institutions in India and abroad.
