~ La sommergenza "S" è la minima profondità di immersione per

evitare la formazione di vortici; essa varia in funzione della
grandezza della pompa e della velocità di rotazione.Il valore S=
2,5D pertanto è solamente indicativo e deve, comunque, essere
commisurato alle condizioni di NPSH richieste dalla pompa.
