1. INTRODUCTION

Test scope is to verify the supply conformity with technical specification and/or procedures
and/or standards indicated in the Contract.

Usually, the tests are performed by supplier.

Purchaser or its Representative reserves the possibility to witness by their Ispectors.

Supplier as responsibles of the whole supply, can perform additional checks and tests if
opportune.

Supplier must present his ispection plan for Purchaser's approval, with a description of
equipments at disposal in his workshop.

Inspection data sheets (I.D.S.) are Purchaser's documents of its Representative. Those
documents synthesize the minimum Purchaser requirements relative to verifications,
inspections and tests.

Inspection data sheets set up Purchaser's ispection plan base and they show for each
check, ispection or test, the following points:

• type of intervention
• required certification
• possible presence of testing authorities.

2. GENERAL

The work carried out following this specification will be subject to ispection.

Purchaser or its Representative will have the right to inspect all materials and/or
equipments during the working phases in the Supplier or sub-supplier workshop.

The right to ispect, so as derogation to itself, does not raise the Supplier to the obligation to
follow stritcly the requirements of this specification.

Supplier will give to the Purchaser or to its Representative all materials certification, the
radiographies or any other necessary data for the verification of the realized work
conformity with requirements of this specification.

No surfaces shall be painted before completion of all inspections.

Supplier shall provide to the observance of any requirements described in the

specifications.

Supplier shall notify in writing three weeks early, data and place where materials and/or
equipments will be available for verifications, inspections and tests.

Supplier will assure without any extracost, assistance, instruments, equipments and energy
necessary to check the work, quality, dimensions, materials weight and any other activity
included in the scope of work.

Any work carried out in non conformity to what foreseen in this specification shall be done
again without additional cost for the Purchaser.

All tests and inspections shall be at Supplier charge. Moreover all necessary action and
certificate for the certification, as well as the certification itself, shall be directly done by
Supplier with testing authority, if required, under Supplier's responsibility and charge.

Supplier shall submit to Purchaser or its Representative at beginning of the job, its own
program where will be established the times of tests execution (inspection test plan).

Supplier will assure with its own inspection department as follow:

• Tests on raw materials

• Intermediate tests
• Tests and calibrations of instruments
• Materials identification for construction
• Observance of working tolerances
• Observance of welding procedures and welders qualification
• To assure that repairs have not been carried out without Purchaser's approval.

Moreover the following documents shall be avaiable for the Purchaser:

• All documents relevant the treatments

• All documents relevant non-destructive tests (radiographies, ultrasonic, dye-
penetrant etc.)
• All documents relevant the hydrostatic and/or pneumatic tests.

3. ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

The acceptance criteria shall be as established in technical specification and/or procedures

and/or standards indicated in the Contract.
