Marketing Analyst
There are immediate openings for Marketing Analyst positions within
Optifreight/Hospital Supply. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting
the implementation and program management of the OptiFreight program. Responsible
for assisting in planning, delivering, and integrating the program into each customers
operation, including contacting vendors on the customer’s behalf, streamlining processes
and resolving compliance and service issues. Provide analytical expertise and
administration to manage data both internally and for/with customers. Support new
vendor setups by communicating and logging new customer activations and by creating
routing guides and communicating / logging vendor confirmations. Also responsible for
contacting target vendors and negotiating the level of participation in the OptiFreight
program with the customer and Cardinal Health. Accountable for vendor set-up activities
to include “cold calling” vendor sales representatives and customer service personnel,
obtaining written shipping term commitments, communicating with the sales teams,
initiating customer updates and ongoing operating support. Assist Implementation
Manager with gathering data and ensuring that all information is collected before and
after implementation. Assist Compliance Manager to develop and analyze vendor and
customer compliance reports to monitor program success for all implemented customers.
Investigate and drive action to resolve inbound / outbound issues in order to increase
volume through the OptiFreight program. Work directly with customers and vendors to
increase compliance. Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies and identify root cause.
Manage and resolve exceptions to ensure proper and timely billing. Investigate / analyze
issues to determine root cause and adjust processes. Candidates should have strong
negotiation skills, results orientation, organizational skills, and creative problem solving
and communication skills. Prior tele-sales and closing success is a definite plus. Need to
be able to prioritize multiple tasks to deliver the best results and be comfortable with
developing responsibilities and systems as the need(s) is identified. Must have
demonstrated success in influencing and/or negotiating. Should possess previous
experience in working with Suppliers and/or Customers. A strong bias towards customer
needs and results is required. Previous experience with transportation, project
management, finance or operations is preferred. The ability to work in a matrix
environment, to be accountable for specific results, and to interact and influence both
external and internal customers. Strong communication skills, 5+ years of business,
Business Objects experience, and degree preferred. Requires up to 5% travel.

Manager, Supplier Relations (Supply Chain)


There are immediate openings for Manager, Supplier Relations positions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the successful development, maintenance
and growth of a portfolio of medical/surgical suppliers and distribution agreements.
Entails owning supplier relationships for Supply Chain Services-Medical and meeting the
Supplier Relations department goals. Responsibilities also include implementing
programs that improve operational efficiencies along with Category Management such
as; managing inventory assets, maintaining high customer fill rates and supplier
profitability, and reducing supply chain costs. Ensures all Supply Chain Services-Medical
business groups are well informed of supplier requirements/impact to business and
provides one point of contact to supplier within Supply Chain Services-Medical.
Candidates should have 2-5 years of distribution/supplier relations experience, strong
interpersonal skills in both verbal and written communications, strong analytical skills to
assess data. They must also be results orientated and have a working knowledge of
database software and prior experience in building a portfolio, and negotiating cost

Senior Marketing Analyst


The candidate will possess good technological and presentation skills. Responsibilities
are as follows:
Manages e2 and alternate database product tools.
Spearheads the ongoing development of internal cross-reference database & tool w/
Marketing, IT, sales, Field & Pricing teams.
Analyzes cross-referencing product line gaps, develops quality control process & ensures
data integrity.
Manages Distribution Marketing website.
Manages live advertisements, product promotion, and sample requests on cardinal.com.
Conducts customer technology first line training for internal customers to include, sales,

Required skills in all Microsoft Office Suite applications in addition to Dreamweaver,

Skills in Visual Basics, SQL and strong product knowledge a plus.

Product Manager II.


Responsible for supporting existing product portfolios as well as implementing new
product line and category launches. Provides product support such as cross references,
quotes and RFP’s, new product line definition, coordination and development of training
literature and training materials, product line specific tradeshow logistical coordination,
communication with internal and external customers, as well as participating in pricing
and costing development. Additional responsibilities include managing two Associate
Product managers; manage GPO pricing origination, Manage Training Programs and
Field/Customer Presentations.
Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment is key.
Needs to be self motivated, detail oriented and pocess strong problem solving skills.

Sr. Analyst, Risk Management & Compliance.


Global Shared Services (GSS) is the corporate wide organization responsible for
technology within Cardinal Health. Risk Management & Compliance (RMC) is an
independent function within GSS that establishes security and control processes with the
business and GSS teams to protect the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and
accountability of IT solutions. The objectives of RMC are to establish and direct the
acceptable level of IT risk within the organization
Essential Functions:
Design and facilitate implementation of information security and IT regulatory controls
within Cardinal Health’s technology implementations. Tests, monitors and reviews the
implemented solution; performs analysis of collected data and communicates findings to
appropriate parties. Thorough understanding of SDLC. Identifies and quantifies risk
factors to facilitate the development and implementation of approaches for managing
risks. Work with the large project teams to define and document an appropriate
implementation strategy for the security and control structure that effectively manages
information security and IT regulatory risks. Work with other teams (IT Compliance,
Disaster Recovery, Risk Operations, User Access Control, Quality) to ensure proper
design requirements and design elements are implemented into application/infrastructure
deployments. Work closely with Cardinal Health’s IT project design and implementation
teams to ensure that adequate controls are implemented within the
application/infrastructure. Review existing Cardinal Health application/infrastructure and
project implementations to identify short term recommendations to improve security and
controls. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry best practices related to IT
Security, IT General controls, and IT Risk Management.
This position requires a four year degree in Management Information Systems, Computer
or Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience. Certified
Information Systems Auditor, and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional
are a plus. 4 to 6 years of total experience required at a minimum. Experience with
requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation required. Prior
major consulting/integration company experience is a plus. Solid project management
skills with an ability to track project status as well as facilitate efforts between various
information technology and business functions to ensure timely completion of projects.
Experience with general IT controls and associated configuration/monitoring tools.
Knowledge of business process controls. Experience with security and security
compliance software (network and application layer). Experience with infrastructure and
disaster recovery design and controls implementation. SAP experience is a plus.
Position requires critical decision-making capabilities, superior communication skills,
and the ability to work with multiple business units and departments. Sensitivity to
accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in all areas of support activity is imperative.

SAP Basis Administrator


This position is responsible for the technical monitoring, support and administration of
the SAP system landscape including SAP R/3 (ERP), SAP Supplier Relationship
Management (SRM), SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), SAP Customer
Relationship Management (CRM), SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW), SAP
Web Application Server (WAS). Responsibilities also include project management,
change management, and upgrade scenarios utilizing SAP Solution Manager within the
SAP system landscape.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 7 years of SAP R/3 Basis administration experience; including NW2004s
Minimum of 4 year of database administration experience; preferably DB2 UDB.
Minimum of 5 years of system administration experience; preferably Unix
Demonstrated skills in utilizing project management techniques.

Systems Engineer
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement solutions for applications by engineering
and configuring the IBM Websphere application server software. Design overall system
architecture including high availability. Install the software and Create the necessary
environments required by the system development life cycle. Configure all environments
to each application's specific requirements (such as JDBC, JMS, web services, High
Availability, Session Management, Security, Service Integration Bus, etc...). Proactively
performance tune each environment as well as reactively troubleshoot problems that
occur. Provide development support to the application development teams.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT: BS in computer related field.
2. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Systems Engineer
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement solutions for applications by engineering
and configuring the IBM Websphere MQ, Message Broker and WBI Adapters (SAP,
JDBC, JText). Design, implement, maintain overall integration infrastructure.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design, implement, and maintain integration systems infrastructure including fault
tolerance and high availability solutions.
· Install and configure IBM Websphere MQ, Message Broker and WBI Adapters
(SAP, JDBC, JText) on Unix and Windows based environments.
· Work with project teams to gather requirements in order to provide estimates and
designs back to the project team.
· Performance tuning Websphere MQ and Message Broker so that it is optimized for
each integration solution. This will include working closely with the development teams
to administer load testing and monitoring.
· Maintain the environment by setting up automated start up and shutdown scripts,
implement automated monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
· Provide development support to the application development teams.
· Provide 24x7 on-call support of Production systems
· Research and troubleshoot problems related to the integration systems
infrastructure, the applications that run on them as well as the external systems that they
interact with.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT: BS in computer related field.
2. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· 2 years hands on development experience with MQ and Message Broker.
· 3 years hands on MQ administration experience on Unix or Windows platform.

ESM CA/NSM Emphasis responsibilities:
Design, implement and support the Enterprise System Monitoring and Management
(ESMM) infrastructure that supports Cardinal's business objectives and enterprise
systems.
Ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of related infrastructure,
business systems, infrastructure system and monitoring tools.
Resolve Enterprise Monitoring software problems and prevents reoccurrence
Provide limited Output Management tool support through documented procedures as
needed
Provides limited Job Scheduling tool support through documented procedures as needed
Develop a strong working knowledge of products, services, and industry trends with
