Marketing Analyst
There are immediate openings for Marketing Analyst positions within
Optifreight/Hospital Supply. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting
the implementation and program management of the OptiFreight program. Responsible
for assisting in planning, delivering, and integrating the program into each customers
operation, including contacting vendors on the customer’s behalf, streamlining processes
and resolving compliance and service issues. Provide analytical expertise and
administration to manage data both internally and for/with customers. Support new
vendor setups by communicating and logging new customer activations and by creating
routing guides and communicating / logging vendor confirmations. Also responsible for
contacting target vendors and negotiating the level of participation in the OptiFreight
program with the customer and Cardinal Health. Accountable for vendor set-up activities
to include “cold calling” vendor sales representatives and customer service personnel,
obtaining written shipping term commitments, communicating with the sales teams,
initiating customer updates and ongoing operating support. Assist Implementation
Manager with gathering data and ensuring that all information is collected before and
after implementation. Assist Compliance Manager to develop and analyze vendor and
customer compliance reports to monitor program success for all implemented customers.
Investigate and drive action to resolve inbound / outbound issues in order to increase
volume through the OptiFreight program. Work directly with customers and vendors to
increase compliance. Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies and identify root cause.
Manage and resolve exceptions to ensure proper and timely billing. Investigate / analyze
issues to determine root cause and adjust processes. Candidates should have strong
negotiation skills, results orientation, organizational skills, and creative problem solving
and communication skills. Prior tele-sales and closing success is a definite plus. Need to
be able to prioritize multiple tasks to deliver the best results and be comfortable with
developing responsibilities and systems as the need(s) is identified. Must have
demonstrated success in influencing and/or negotiating. Should possess previous
experience in working with Suppliers and/or Customers. A strong bias towards customer
needs and results is required. Previous experience with transportation, project
management, finance or operations is preferred. The ability to work in a matrix
environment, to be accountable for specific results, and to interact and influence both
external and internal customers. Strong communication skills, 5+ years of business,
Business Objects experience, and degree preferred. Requires up to 5% travel.
Would like to see people with obvious experience in Marketing and at Purchasing roles
but to also include pricing, product management, and exposure to logistics and
distribution and of course, healthcare/pharmaceutical experience preferred.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT: BS in computer related field.
2. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience with application servers (ie: BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere)
· Operating Systems: Windows 2003, AIX
· Web servers (IIS, iPlanet, Apache)
· Experience with WebSphere Commerce, Portal, WCC, Process Server a plus.
· J2EE skills a plus
Systems Engineer
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement solutions for applications by engineering
and configuring the IBM Websphere MQ, Message Broker and WBI Adapters (SAP,
JDBC, JText). Design, implement, maintain overall integration infrastructure.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design, implement, and maintain integration systems infrastructure including fault
tolerance and high availability solutions.
· Install and configure IBM Websphere MQ, Message Broker and WBI Adapters
(SAP, JDBC, JText) on Unix and Windows based environments.
· Work with project teams to gather requirements in order to provide estimates and
designs back to the project team.
· Performance tuning Websphere MQ and Message Broker so that it is optimized for
each integration solution. This will include working closely with the development teams
to administer load testing and monitoring.
· Maintain the environment by setting up automated start up and shutdown scripts,
implement automated monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
· Provide development support to the application development teams.
· Provide 24x7 on-call support of Production systems
· Research and troubleshoot problems related to the integration systems
infrastructure, the applications that run on them as well as the external systems that they
interact with.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT: BS in computer related field.
2. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· 2 years hands on development experience with MQ and Message Broker.
· 3 years hands on MQ administration experience on Unix or Windows platform.
· Operating Systems: Windows 2003, AIX.
· 2 years Java development and RDBMS SQL experience required.
· WBI SAP Adapters experience, and SAP ALE, RFC configuration skill a plus
· Experience with WebSphere Application Server a plus.
· J2EE skills a plus
