Exciting two day training program was held for the grass root leaders of Synod of Pentecostal Churches from 22 - 23 August. About 38 pastors from different churches in and around Coimbatore participated. The Resource person Prof. S D Jeyakumar (CIM) spoke on the Indian Constitution and the Fundamental Rights in the light of Biblical perspectives. Other subjects like formation of organisation, Income tax, FCRA 2010, Indian Resource Mobilisation and Finance Management were ably dealt with by Mr. Varghese Jacob. At the end of the program participants felt that several other city pastors couldve participated and benefitted from this training. Consultations were held with 10 pastors whore likely to avail further assistance from CIM. Rev. D. M. David Daniel played a key role for coordinating the program. Upcoming program: Exclusive seminar on Indian Resource Mobilisation at Kolkata on 26 - 27 September. Resource Persons: Mr. Mike Aldrich, Dr. Leaderwell Pohsngap, Mr.Joseph Mathai and Mr. B.D. Das. Enrolments are progressing for the MA / MCM / PG Diploma / Diploma courses (Christian Management). Examinations for Semesters II & IV were held from 22 -26 th August in 10 different centers across the country. Christian Manager: The focus of the Aug.-Sept. is Balancing Family and Work. The edition will be out in mid September. Basic Management Handbook: The content of the Basic Management Handbook has undergone through three rounds of content editing. Its in the final stages of language editing immediately after which itll be sent for printing. The book will be released in the upcoming IMA conference where hundreds of Christian leaders are expected to participate. CIM 365 Days Management Devotionals: Much groundwork has been done for the Daily Leadership and Management Devotionals 2012 which will be written by 52 writers for 52 weeks. Much of the groundwork has been towards enlisting prospective writers, listing of 52 topics and laying down guidelines for writers. All 52 writers have been contacted have agreed to write for the devotional book. Many have started the writing process and few other writers are yet to choose the topic. All content is expected to be submitted by September 30 th . Subsequently, in October the material will undergo various stages of editing. Christian Professionals Meet: CIM organized a breakfast program for the Christian Professionals in Chennai on 20 th August. The theme for the morning talk was on Kingdom principles for Management Excellence which was shared by Dr.R.Rajkumar (Founder, logos Ministries; President,

Haggai Institute India). Pastors Conference: Logos Ministries in partnership with CIM conducted a unique program for nearly 325 pastors of Chennai city on the Theme Joy in Ministry. Dr. R. Rajkumar was the main speaker. The event saw an impressive ecumenical representation from around 15 church denominations namely, Lutheran Church, Marthoma Church, Orthodox Syrian Church, St. Thomas Evangelical Church, CSI, ECI, Tamil Baptist Church, Catholics, Telugu Baptist Church, Tamil Methodist Church, English Methodist Church, Salvation Army, Advent Christian Church, Maranatha Ministries, Synod of Pentecost, Synod of Independent Churches. Synod of Pentecostal Churches includes ACA, AG, Church of God and all other Pentecostal. Mr.Rajkumars three sessions on Joy in Ministry helped to revitalise the spiritual life of hundreds of pastors.
