1. Takbir
In the first unit of prayer, raise hands to shoulder level and recite aloud*. Then, drop hands down and fold right across left on stomach. In later units of prayer, just recite aloud* and fold hands across stomach.

2. Fatihah
Recite aloud* in first two units of Fajr, Maghrib and Isha, otherwise silently. The Ameen is recited silently.
Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe, Alhamdu lillahi rabbil alameen The Compassionate, the Merciful, Ar rahman nir raheem Sovereign King on the Day of Judgement! Mliki yowmid deen Iyyaka nabudu wa iyyaka nastaeen You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help. Guide us to the straight path, Ihdinas sirtal mustaqeem The path for those whom You have favoured, Sirtal ladheena anamta alayhim ghoyril maghdoobi alayhim walad dleen Not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray.
Ameen Qul huwa Allhu ahad Allhu samad Lam yalid walam yulad Walam yakul lahu kufuwan ahad
Amen.
3. al Ikhlas
Recited in first two units only. Recite aloud* in Fajr, Maghrib and Isha.
Say: God is One, The Eternal God. He begot none, nor was He begotten. None is equal to Him.
4. Ruku
Allhu Ackbar* Subhana Rabbi yal adheem Subhana Rabbi yal adheem Subhana Rabbi yal adheem Sami Allhu liman hamida Rabbana wa lakal hamd
5. Itidal
God hears the one who praises him, Our Lord, to You be all praise!
6. Sajda
Allhu Akbar* Subhana Rabbi yal ala Subhana Rabbi yal ala Subhana Rabbi yal ala
7. Jalsa
Allhu Akbar* Rabb ighfirlee wa irhamnee Allhu Akbar* Subhana Rabbi yal ala Subhana Rabbi yal ala Subhana Rabbi yal ala Allhu Akbar*
8. Sajda
9. Tashahud
Sit up kneeling, hands on thighs and right hand in a fist with index finger pointing towards Mecca. Recited only in second and last units of prayer.
God is Great!
At tahiyytu lillhi, All salutations are for God, azakiytu lillhi, all pure things are for God, at tayibtu as salawtu lillh. all good things and all worship is for God. As salmu alayka ay yuhan nabeeyu Peace be upon you, O Prophet! wa rahmatullhee wa baraktuh, And Gods mercy and blessings. As salmu alayna Peace be upon us, wa ala ibadillhis saliheen. and upon all righteous slaves of God. Ash hadua la ilaha il Allhu I testify that there is no deity other than Allh, wahdu la shareeka lah alone without comparison, Wa ash haduana Muhammadan and I testify that Muhammad abduhu wa rasulu is His slave and messenger. Allhuma sallee ala Muhammad O God! Exalt our master Muhammad, wa ala alee Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad, kama salayta ala Ibraheem as You did exalt our master Abraham, wa ala alee Ibraheem and the family of our master Abraham, wa barik ala Muhammad and bless our master Muhammad, wa ala alee Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad, kama barakta ala Ibraheem as You did exalt our master Abraham, wa ala alee Ibraheem and the family of our master Abraham. fil alameena In all of the worlds, innaka hamidoon majeed Indeed, You are glorious and worthy of all praise.

11. Salam
Kneel with both hands flat on thighs, face right and recite first line aloud,* then face left and recite second line aloud.* Recite only in last unit of prayer.
