Review of Ford New Fiesta (Voice Navigation on console) Got late evening opportunity to drive New Ford Fiesta

today, 1st impression, the dual tone dark interiors were good with fabric and plastic quality was improved . Details are #engine is fitted well and space on engine placement is done well (Macpherson rails)(disappointing that engine cover from below body is thin fiber sheet which will tear off soon on lower ground clearance), diesel I am talking about is a 1500 cc, it drives well and pickup was smooth (for 1st 30 secs I foun d lil difference between a petrol pickup and diesel), electronic steering adds p leasure. Now the #price when I heard gave me a little shock, top model with voice navigat or, Bluetooth & USB is 60000/- more and u will land up paying around 10.95 lacks (make it 11+) in U.P. (Allahabad, Varanasi & Lucknow) Without voice navigation will cost u around 10.40 & top second will budget u but around 9.75 but u will n ot like the difference ford has judged on pocket for #price. #1st good thing about new fiesta is that it has all safety features like ABS SRS & Airbags for both drivers and front seat that makes #new fiesta safety conscio us for long highway's & city as well. #Boot was ok,but with increased length I was expecting more space for baggages, A nother shock was that all 4 #alloys were 15" but the stepany tier given was norm al rim and only 14",I questioned the sales guy he said sir international standar d s,anyways this disappointed me as well.The top model has #chrome on window s b lades, were it is missing in top second model.crome workout on body is decent, a Lille more on boot door would have added more flash but oklet the ford review it all in its 2nd upgraded after a year. The #designers of this model was surely obsessed with a flying machine (saucer )o r airplane cockpit which they had tried to match machine & software quite well f rom dash, cluster tecko and its orange backlit luminary. The wiring and I pod ja cks are placed well all over good work by #electric team 1 disappointment that a ll lower interior s lights are tiny bulbs not leds, I burned my fingers while check ing the bulbs below dash board, since bulbs were naked (sorry bulbs I felt ur ____ _ha..ha..), this is bad Ford u could have afforded some little plastic more. Another while checking the electric fuse and diode box I didnt find the #clip to draw out 10,15 & 20 no fuses, most important tool (the smallest too) without that u can t even find technical fault in ur dead car in the middle of the jungle. B ad who missed it in quality check or TDI the dealer point shouldve take care of a ll these things before delivery / my looking at the car (am very precise like pi nk panther ha..ha..). Now the much awaited #voice navigation control of the #all new ford u all will l ove to listen about, this was my 1st interaction with a car talking and taking m y commands frankly. I have seen cars using such tech in high end models but I tri ed it today...my experience initially was wow, it actually works but a little hassl es was it only take instruction s on a set pattern. (Default commands in voice) Another if u just keep on #pressing the voice command button and keep bossing li ke I did, the voice navigation got confused, failed and told me shut the fuuckk up men I can t take all ur crap. Now I got a little disappointed with this, since a new car rejected an old exper ienced driver. Frankly speaking #manual setting were doing great, since it was # raining outside & anything didn t function well apart from Climate Control >A/C control (Auto Mode),Fan speed (Low)and thanks to the sales guy who tuned the FM a nd he remembered the frequency of some 93. Alpha,Beta,Gama whatever ,which I rar ely try inside #My Verna.(have u heard my audio 5.1 blaupunk at a distant night, my friend @rama said its best thankx to the ABR electronics@Ashu Bhiya (Alld.)Wh o have made all the gadget settings..1 and only guy, tecko in car audio in INDIA. )Hey I got lil emotional wheres my car ?

All in all I will not like to waste 60k more on a stupid voice navigation which puts of my fandu music off and take at least 20 to 35 second s to obey my vocal c ommands, dude my fingers can do da same in 5 sec s manually. Although cruse contr ol is in super top model only, this is not functional befor 30 kmph in city and will be good only for best highways in India.(though I tried and it was working ok..in city) Ok, avoid that, I liked the inbuilt audio given 4 speakers & 2 twitter s (front doors) on all doors only. A little boost from an added bass tube and 2 or 4 channe l blaupunk amplifier will add disco to Ur dard "e, kisko on ur highway on ur pla te. But the seats though designed well, fits me well too, didnt had arm rest even in t hee top notch model and yes the head rest were missing too ..U will have to add these two from accessories...Again top model doesnt offer you leather seats u will have to afford that all Ur self bad Ford cant u afford Lets come out # front lights designed well works good in night but the distance co vered was in spite of adjustment were poor..Good for city for late night highway s I doubt.. A lot of battery consumption of tail lights, show me home etc. when parked, henc e a bigger battery so rember a bigger hole in ur pocket if u dont take care well of the power box.. Move back in its pretty disappointing that fog lamps are to be manually put onn a nd off while u check out of ur late night drives..why cant I just turn off my keys and get out and forget all bout these small things Ford u missed again a point on ur score. Key less entery,double press key auto boot open and all are very old features an added one touch button on dash like cruze and Nissan micra would have added more carelessness to all corporate guys you know how busy they are like me eham eham. . Yet ford engineers missed it, am sure the finance team would have dropped that idea..Bad guys all u want is profit.. Hey guys car is out in the market go check it out, it disappointed me with ineffi ciently added very brand new features in A & B class which is so exiting but pri ce is quite over priced and again all serious safety price and less of features is no buy. BUT the ford new engine delivers its promise of 23.5 to 24 kmpl on die sel which makes this care value more not the price tag..And surly it will do goo d sales. But man go ahead check a new Verna too I am sure u will fall for the beauty stan ding next to the beast.. Happy driving boyz, 2 pegs good,3 peg u are ready to roll and 4th peg u roll out. .Hence dont drink and drive.
