Syed Jaffer She wrote slant. She was educated lady with sophisticated manners. The contents of the letter could not be imagined by the leader of lowest rank. When our Army surrendered and was in India it was suggested to her father that since it is most humiliated army it should be crushed for all times to come, Bhutto declined and did every thing to rebuild it. He was of the opinion that a strong army was necessary to counter India. talk less of nuclear facilities it is better. Leaders like her or her father don't ask for asylum they are forced into exile the first chance they get they come back to Pakistan even if they are made to go to jail. Who ever wrote his name on the paper, you have posted as BB's letter, has spelled P i t e r G a i l b r a i t h The first protocol of writing a formal letter if you have the manners is to properly address someone particularly the spelling of his/her name should be correct. In particular if you are asking for a favor you ought to be very careful. Those who study in Convents know most of the Christians names. BB was brought up with best education one can afford, she was learned enough to know all these manners. Above all her style of writing was slant.
