MEMBERSHIP
The group had Twenty-One (21) members; this was made up of six males
and fifteen females.

LOCAL MEETING DAYS

The choir meets on Tuesday and Thursday 7:00pm to 8:30pm for singing
practice and Saturday 7:00pm to 8:30pm for rehearsals toward the
Sunday divine service. The executives’ meets once in every month that is
third Sunday to hold discussions for the welfare of the choir, emergency
meetings are call when needed.

DISTRICT
The group never relented on its efforts in the participation of district
programmes with the assistance of the session.
First of all, we took part in the general meetings we never eliminate
ourselves from the music workshop and practice. We also did take part on
Annual Conference of Madina District Choir Union from 27th-29th June at
Madina Savior. We take part of Hymn Quiz. We did take part of Blood
donation which held at Tema General Hospital.

FINANCE
Our sources of income are monthly dues offertory during meeting and
grant from session, patrons and patroness.

ACHIEVEMENT
By the grace of God, Our numerical strength was increased by four (4)
which comprises four (4) females. We organized fundraising, dinner and
hymnology and it was successful.

PROJECTIONS
To build a body of choristers who would not only be conscious of their
physical responsibilities but would be conscious of the spiritual also. To
build the choir not singing for the church only but would prepare to take
the glory of the Lord through singing. It is our vision to organize Carols
Night before Christmas.

PROBLEMS
• Poor attendances to meetings on Sunday’s service.
• Lateness on practice.
• Lack of members especially Tenor Singers.

DEATH
Throughout the year, death has struck one member from the choir who
used to be tenor singer in the person of Bro. Bismark Ampem Darko
Sintim.

CHOIRMASTER
The last but not the least, the entire choristers are saying bravo to our
choirmaster, Bro. Frank Adu for been so good to us. We once again thank
him for his commitment, and good job to raise the good name of the choir
during our fundraising, dinner and hymnology. We also appeal to the
session to motivate and take good care of him because choirmasters are
very scarce in the system.
APPRECIATION
We are grateful to God who has enabled us to go through the year
successfully. We therefore salute all those who in diverse ways contributed
toward the building of the choir especially Our dear Rev. Obeng Ntow,
Catechist Dominic Sarpong and the session, Our Patrons and Patroness,
Session Co-ordinator, for their strong support and guidance and prayers. It
is our hope and prayer that all of us will work together as one family.

CONCLUSION
To conclude we will to express our appreciation and gratitude to God for
his care ad protection throughout the year under review. It is our prayer
that Shalom Presby Church choir will grow from strength to strength and
from faith to faith to up list the good works of God.

SUBMISSION
