(2-D COMMANDS)
(1)UNITS (UN) This command is used to set the drawing units like Engineering, Decimal, Architectural and etc., using following procedure. Command: un E In units toolbar set the required unit. (2) LIMITS (LIMITS) This command is used to set the drawing limits using following procedure. Command : Limits E Specify the lower left corner : E Specify the upper right corner: @ X, Y E (3) ZOOM (Z) This command is used to zoom the screen, using following procedure. Command: Z E (All, Center Dynamic, Previous and etc.): A E (4) UCS ICON (UCS ICON) This command is used to fix the UCS tool bar in one fixed position, using following procedure. Command: UCS Icon Enter an option: No E (5) VIEWRES (VIEWRES) This command is used to adjust the resolution or fast zoom the screen using following procedure. Command : Viewres E Do you want for zoom : E Enter circle zoom percentage : 20000 E

CREATING COMMANDS (1)LINE (L) This command is used to draw the line using following procedure. Command: L E Specify first point: Click the first point on the screen using Mouse. Specify next point: Show the direction and give the Distance E (F8- To draw straight line ) Specify the next point: Show the next direction and give the Next distance E. Continue this procedure and draw the line diagram and give C to close the command or give E. (2) POLYLINE (PL) This command is used to draw the polyline using following procedure. Command: PL E Follow the same procedure used for drawing LINE (L). (3) SIMPLE POLYLINE (SPL) This command is used to draw the simple polyline using following procedure. Command: SPL E Specify the first point: Click the first point on the Screen using mouse Specify the next point: Click the next point on the Screen using Mouse. Continue this procedure and close the command. (4)RECTANGLE (REC) This command is used to draw the Rectangle using following procedure. Command: Rec E Specify the first corner: Click the first corner on the Screen using Mouse. Specify the other corner: @ X, Y E

(5) CIRCLE(C) This command is used to draw the Circle using the following procedure. Command: C E Specify the center point: Click the center point of the Circle using Mouse. Specify the radius: (Give the radius) E (6) ARC (A) This command is used to draw the Arc using the following procedure. Command: A E Specify the start point: Click the start point of the Arc Using mouse Specify the second point: Click the second point of the Arc using Mouse Specify the End point: Click the end point of the Arc using Mouse (7) ELLIPSE (ELLIPSE) This command is used to draw the Ellipse using the following procedure. Command: Ellipse E Specify the axis end point of the ellipse: Click the center point Of the Ellipse. Specify the other end point of the ellipse: Give the Diameter E. Specify the distance of the other axis : Give the Radius for Another axis E (8)POLYGON (POLYGON) This command is used to draw the polygon using the following procedure. Command: Polygon E Specify the sides: Give the number of sides we required E. Specify the center point: Click the center point of the Circle.

Enter an option: Enter I to draw polygon inside the radius or Give C to draw the polygon outside the Radius Specify the radius: Give the radius E. MODIFYING COMMANDS (1)ERASE(E) This command is used to erase the object, using following procedure. Command: e E Select object: select the object to erase using Mouse E (2)EXPLODE (X) This command is used to convert polyline to line, using following procedure Command: x E Select object: select the polyline E (3)POLYLINE EDIT (PE) This command is used to convert line to polyline using following procedure Command: pe E Select polyline: m E Select object: select the lines E Convert line or arc to polyline? : E Enter an option : j E Enter fuzz distance : E Enter an option : E (4) TRIM(TR) This command is used to trim the object using following procedure. Command: TR E Select object: Select the boundry to trim E.

Select object to trim: Click the object to trim E. (OR) Command: tr E Select object: E Select object to trim: Click the object to trim E. (5) EXTEND(EX) This command is used to extend the object using following procedure. Command: Ex E Select object: Select the Boundry E Select object to Extend: Click the edge to extend. (6) BREAK(BR) This command is used to break the object using the following procedure. Command: Br E Select object: Select the object. First point: F E. Specify the first point: Click the first Break point. Specify the second point: Specify the distance (7) MOVE(M) This command is used to Move the object using the following procedure. Command: m E Select object: Select the object to Move E. Specify Base Point: Click the Base point of the Object to move Specify the Second point: Click the second point.

(8)COPY (CO) This command is used to Copy the object using the following procedure. Command: Co E Select object : Select the object to Copy E. Specify Base Point: Click the Base point of the object Specify the Second point: Click the second point (8) ALLIGN (AL) This command is used to Allign the object using the following procedure. Command: Al E Select object: Select the object to align E Specify first source point: Click the first source source Point Specify first destination source point: Click the first Destinations point Specify the second source point: Click the second source Point Specify the second destination point: Click the second Destination point. Specify the third source point (Continue): E Scale the Align object?: Y E. (9)OFFSET (O) This command is used to offset the object using the following Procedure. Command: O E Specify the Offset distance: Give the distance to Offset E. Select the object to Offset: Select the object. Specify the side to offset: Click the side to Offset.

(9) MIRROR(MI) This command is used to Mirror the object using the following procedure. Command: Mi E Select object: Select the object to Mirror E. Specify the first point: Click the first point of the Mirror line. Specify the second point: Click the another point of the Mirror line E. Delete the source?: Give Y for Deleting the source or N for keep As it is (10) DIVIDE(DIV) This command is used to divide the object using the following procedure. Command: Div E. Select object to Divide: Select the object. Enter the Number of segments: Give the Number of Segments To divide E. (11) DDPTYPE (DDPTYPE)

This command is used to View the Divided points using the following procedure. Command: Ddp Type E One toolbar will appears, select the point which would you like to insert and give OK. (12) ROTATE(RO) This command is used to rotate the object using the following procedure. Command: Ro E Select Object: Select the Object E. Specify the Base point: Click the Base point. Specify the Angle: Give the angle E.

(13) SCALE(SCALE) This command is used to Scale the object using the following procedure. Command: Scale E. Select the object: Select object to Scale E. Specify the Base Point: Click the Base Point. Specify the Scale Factor: Give the Scale Factor E. (14) FILLET(FILLET) This command is used to Fillet the object using the following procedure. THIS PROCEDURE IS FOR POLYLINE Command: fillet E Select first object or [Undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]: Give r E Specify fillet radius <0.0000>: Specify the Fillet Radius.E Select first object or [Undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]: Give p E Select 2D polyline: Select the polyline. THIS PROCEDURE IS FOR LINE Command: fillet E Select first object or [Undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]: Give r E Specify fillet radius <0.0000>: Specify the Fillet Radius.E Select first object or [Undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]:Select the first line Select second object or [Undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]:Select the second line (14)CHAMFER(CHAMFER) This command is used to Chamfer the Object using the following procedure.

DISTANCE METHOD Command: Chamfer E Select first line or [Undo/Polyline/Distance/Angle/Trim/mEthod/Multiple]: d Specify first chamfer distance <14.9034>: Specify the First distance E. Specify second chamfer distance <10.0000>:Specify the Second distance E. Select first object or [Undo/Polyline/Distance/Angle/Trim/mEthod/Multiple] :Follow the Same Procedure used in Fillet. ANGLE METHOD Command: Chamfer E Select first line or [Undo/Polyline/Distance/Angle/Trim/mEthod/Multiple]: A Specify first chamfer distance <14.9034>: Specify the First distance E. Specify the Angle:Specify the Angle E. Select first object or [Undo/Polyline/Distance/Angle/Trim/mEthod/Multiple] :Follow the Same Procedure used in Fillet. (15)ARRAY(ARRAY) This command is used to Array the object using following procedure. Command : Array E Give the values in the Dialogue Box given bellow and give OK.

(16)LAYER(LAYER) This command is used to set the selective Object into the selective layer to Set Off or Change the Property by using the procedure given bellow. CREATING NEW LAYER Command: Layer E One Dialogue box will appear, Give Right Click in the Screen and give New layer and give the name to that layer as given bellow.

INSERTING OBJECT INTO THE LAYER Select the Object which to be Insert then Select the Layer Toolbar Shown bellow and Select the Specific Named Layer, and give Enter and then Layer Dialogue Box will appear give OK in it.

PRESENTATION (1) TEXT SIZE(TEXTSIZE) This command is used to set the size of the Text using the following procedure. Command: Text Size E Specify the Size of the Text : Give the Size of the Text. (2)TEXT (T) This command is used to type the Text in the drawing. Command: T E Draw a rectangular Selection in the Screen, Text window will open,Type the text and giveOK. (3)LINETYPE(LINETYPE) This command is used to draw dotted lines using following procedure.

Command: Line Type E Click Load in the Dialogue Box given below:

Select the Line Type in the Dialogue Box given below and give OK:

(4)HATCH (H) This command is used to insert the Hatch Symbols in the drawing. Command : H E Select the Pattern in the Window given bellow which would be Insert in the drawing by Clicking Add Pick Point or Add Select Object and Select in the Drawing then Give the required Scale by seeing previewToolbar

3-D COMMANDS
CREATING COMMANDS (1)EXTRUDE (EXT) This command is used to give the depth of the object i) Command: ext E Select object : Select the object to extrude E Specify the depth :specify the height or depth of the object E Specify angle of taper: specify the angle E (ii) Command: ext E Select object : Select the object to extrude E Specify the depth (PATH) :Select extrude path (2)REVOLUTION(REV) Command:rev E Select object :select the object to revoluve E Specify axis :specify the axis Specify angle of revolution:give angle E MODIFYING COMMANDS (1)UNION(UNI) This command is used to union the object Command:union E Select object :Select the objects to union E (2)SUBTRACT(SU) This command is used to subtract the object Command:sub E Select object:select the object subtract from E Select object:select the object to subtract E

(3)OTHER MODIFICATION ARE DONE USING TOOLBARS MODIFY-SOLID EDITING COLOUR FACES OR EXTRUDE FACES OR ETC, BY SELECTING FACE PRESENTATION (1)RENDER (RR) This command is used to see the Finishing like Material and Light using the following procedure. Command: rr E On the toolbars as shown bellow.

And Click More options and follow as given bellow:

And give OK, Render Window will come back Give Render. (2) RENDER MATERIAL(RMAT) This command is used to Give the Material for the 3D object Using the following procedure. Command: Rmat E The Window Given Bellow will appear, Select material Library in it.

Select the Material and see Preview if you need that Select import in the Window Given bellow and Give OK. We can attach the Materials in Three methods (a) Select the Material and Click Attach and select the object. (b) Select the Material and Click By Aci and select the Number of the color of the object and Click Attach and Click OK. (c) Select the Material and Click By Layer and select the Name of the Layer of the Object and Click Attach and Click OK. Finally Give OK to all Windows . To see the Material Give Render . (3) LIGHT(LIGHT)

This command is used to set the Lights ,like Point light , Distant Light , Spot Light using the following procedure. Command: Light E Select the Light and set the Intensity as given bellow to get Good Clarity and Give the values which it asks and finally Give OK . To view the light Give Render. (4) SAVE IMAGE(SAVEIMG) This command is used to convert the Drawing file into Image File to get output by using following procedure. This will be done after giving Render Command. Command: Saveimg E Select the Image Type BMP or TIFF or TGA and Give OK. It will ask Where to Locate the File ? Select the Location and give save . ****
