August 2011

With the events that happened with Siha I have personally travelled to all the rest of the tribes of Romainia, I have informed all of the moisture evaporators and there purpose and also have gained valuable insight into the deceit of tribe Siha. Tribe Siha has indeed been inciting the rest of the Romainian tribes into a grand revote. But luckily all the other tribes have been ether playing them at their own games or discarding them completely. This has convinced me that we can react to tribe Siha justly and with swift resolve.

Arrrghh! Chariot!! Orcs and Goblins, this should be easy Everything was working very well. Our Screaming Skull Catapult misfired twice but that is only sometimes expected. Nurg the Hideously Repugnant took a direct catapult hit that would of smashed it to bits but Sur-ra our Necrotect regenerated the hit! I was overjoyed. Our Casket did well and the gobliniods were dropping like flies. We got into holy hand to hand with a unit of swigs and smashed them to wheel around and take a charge from the orc warboses orc boyz. This would not of been any trouble but I was in the unit at the time and Peribsen also. I held our troops together as best as I could but two counter charges from weakened goblin chariots saw an end of all of us. Ra-num cut down the orc warboss but the damage was done. Without me to keep our force together our force crumbled to the four winds.

: Lose to Ra-num 2400 just : No : Damn! 1 wound left goblin chariot!!

Hateful and despicable act. The tribe of Siha has summoned a hateful and disgusting Verminlord a dreaded greater deamon of the Skaven race. It is unknown who, but the why is clear. Siha is revolting against our rule. The damage was caused; the Verminlord and its hateful spawn destroyed the leader camp, the tide of the rat pushed out and attacked the other camps. Survivors were small and the camps were all destroyed and burnt to the ground. I am ready in a army under the control of Kelop to stop this menace.

August 2011 Siha the Hateful I curse the Siha and their sickly spawn, now we have to protect the faithful. I summoned a Mist of Jade in hast to end this Verminlord and his vile kin and bring peace to our lands. I saw the rat host come with vigor and speed, the Verminlord and a foul Hell Pit Abomination was of threatening concern. A doom-rocket hit our beloved skeleton warriors in their holy formation? These vile creatures? We threw everything at the Verminlord and Hell Pit Abomination our Casket failed and our Screaming Skull catapult broke. We maneuvered our troops as best we could. Nurg the Hideously Repugnant and the Mist of Jade both breathed their fire upon the plague monks killing many before they could send their poisonous weapons into our number. We cut all the monks down leaving the Furnace alone so we can destroy it alone. With praise to Ra, We finally took the Verminlord down with holy bow-fire the foul deamon fell but the skaven kelp coming. In the end we lost a lot of our host, but the rats returned to the ground without their dark master. So I take a honor victory even though our loss was known.

: Loss to Ra-num 2500 but the Verminlord was destroyed : No : Lost the battle but won the war.

We have created a massive 70 man skeleton warrior movement tray. Just what we need to stay on the battlefield that little bit longer? Or so we hope

The destruction of Siha was complete Yagmoth the Black saw to that. Some survivors returned the tale they told was expected. Yagmoth to all knowledge killed the summoners first before putting its force to the reat of the doomed tribe. Until the Gathering of the Wise I will try my best to help the innocent of the tribe, they might not deserve it?

The evil taint if Yagmoth the Black is removed and the place of death cured of all unholy power. I now leave the survivors of the slaughter to their own devices as the Gathering of the Wise rightfully judged.

Yagmoth the Black is not finished with Romainia, it turns it gaze toward it eager to cause untold damage and death to this race of deathless things.

The following one battle was played on the 21 August 2011, during the Aint Another One August Unlimited Hobbies Club Challenge. As part of the tourney every army can take a Monster from the Storm of Magic monster list. This counted both toward rare and lord % limits. We choose the Great Chaos Spawn we used the Mist of Jade as the model.

Its not over; Tribe Tarnet encountered some sneaky ratman in the mountains of Romainia. I understand much of their foul language and upon closer study with some captured by Tarnet I found out interesting truths. The summoner of Yagmoth the Black did survive. Not just that but the mortal is a Romainian and one of the wise of the tribe. His esacpe was planned that way and he is amassing strength deep underground the mountains. Somehow he has gained some power of the Verminlord? I do not believe it either, how can this be?

Return of Yagmoth

August 2011 : Victory to Ra-num 2500 : No : We won

That did not take long? With the release of Ogre Kingdoms this month, the ancient breath has been sucked out of our holy empire. With all the holy promises and excited pre-released hue our poor army book looks like a crazed goblin compared to the empire war machine at it highest We are back to not being competitive and are returned to our tombs in holy disappointment. Our campaign hopes at Tumult 2011 this year dashed by the more serious skaven horde choice. We are left with a sad, unserious hope in a fortune of balance...
