K & J Dolls: Pattern designed by Sayjai of K and J Dolls This pattern can be made using any yarn you wish. Choose a hook size that matches the yarn.

Materials:
I have used: 1) 3.25 mm hook (US = D, UK = 10) 2) 4 ply yarn (yellow, raspberry, blue and purple) 3) Tapestry needle 4) Polyester fiberfill 5) 4 Florist wire (18 gauge)

Size: Flower diameter = 2.5 inches/ 6.5 cm Abbreviations: *** US Crochet Abbreviations***
ch = chain st = stitch rnd = round sc = single crochet sl = slip tog = together

Note: This project is working in continuous rounds, do not join or turn unless otherwise stated.
Mark first stitch of each round.

Flower:
Inner part: ***Rnds 2-9 are working in back loops only. *** Rnd 1: With purple (flower color), ch 2, 6 sc in second chain from hook. (6) Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around. (12) Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around. (18) Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) around. (24) Rnd 5: (Sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st) around. (27) Rnd 6-8: Sc in each st around. Rnd 9: Sc in each st around, sl st in first st. Fasten off. Outer part: *Working in free loops of the Inner part. * With purple (flower color), sl st in free loop of rnd 1 of inner part, ch1, sc in same st, (ch 9, sc in next st) around until cover all the Inner part. Leave long end for sewing, fasten off.

Finishing:

Sew around the opening but do not pull the yarn to close the opening.

Make a loop at the end of Florist wire and warp around with polyester fiberfill, put it inside of the flower then pull the yarn to close the opening and sew it close tightly.
