This pattern is very simple and can be completed in a couple afternoons. It is recommended that the piece be starched and then stiffened with a glue mixture, then any charm added. For the square motifs, since they will only be chains, it is only necessary to wind up around 6 with an adequate length of thread to work with and hide. A small drop of glue should be put over knots for security. Square motif: Paper clip. Repeat 6 more times. R 4+4 C 8 R 8+ (Join to next picot on motif) 4-4 R 4+3-3-3-3-3-3-4 R 4+4+ (Join to correct picot of next pattern section)8. Continue on, referring to pattern and picture. Tie and cut. Starch, stiffen. Add findings. Enjoy!
