OFFICE MEMORANDUM Subject : Filling up of the post of Secretary-Cum-Controller of Examinations in the pay scale of PB- 4 (Rs. 37400-67,000+ GP-8700) (Director level) in SSC (Hqtrs), New Delhi, on deputation basis .. It is proposed to fill up the post of Secretary-Cum-Controller of Examinations, Staff Selection Commission with Headquarter at New Delhi in the pay scale of PB- 4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000+ GP-8700/-) (Director level), on deputation basis. The eligibility criteria as per Recruitment Rules is given in Annexure-I & II. The pay and other conditions of service of the selected officer will be regulated in accordance with the DOPTs Office Memorandum No.2/29/91-Estt.(Pay-II), dated the 5.1.1994 as amended from time to time. 2. Applications of only such officers will be considered, as are routed through proper channel and are accompanied with (i) bio-data as in proforma at Annexure II (ii) photocopies of the up-to-date CR dossiers of the officer containing CRs of the last five years, duly attested by a Group A officer; (iii) cadre clearance (iv) Vigilance clearance/Integrity Certificate; (v) statement giving details of major or minor penalties if any, imposed on the officer during the last ten years and (vi) a certificate that in the event of selection, the officer would be relieved to join the duties of the post. 3. It is requested that the applications of suitable officers who are willing and eligible for the post and who can be spared immediately in the event of selection, may be sent at the following address on or before 24th October, 2011.Applications not accompanied with the required certificates/documents stated in para 2 above will not be entertained. (ii) with 5 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of 15,600-39,100/- (PB-3)+ Grade Pay Rs.7600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department ; and

: (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :: : Period of deputation : (i) Masters' Degree from a recognized University or equivalent;

(ii) Seven years experience in Administration, Vigilance and Financial Matters Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex- cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or in some other organization/ department of the Central Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding fifty six years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.`
