Softball Leagues are based on the nal total of entries. All leagues play a round-robin schedule (seven or 14 games) that includes a post season single-elimination tournament. Adult Basketball Leagues: All teams register Aug. 1-31 or until the League lls. Team Registration is on a rst come rst served basis. Registration begins at 7am and walk-in customers take priority over managers calling in or using e-mail or mail at Gilbert Community Services Department, 90 E. Civic Center Dr. We offer 6 Leagues scheduled Sunday through Thursday of Mens Upper B, Intermediate C and Lower D. Adult Co-Ed Volleyball Leagues: All teams register Aug. 1-31 or until the League lls. Team Registration will be handled on a rst come rst served basis. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and walk-in customers take priority over managers calling in or using e-mail or mail at Gilbert Community Services Department, 90 E. Civic Center Dr. We offer 2 levels of play, Upper Co-Ed A and Upper Co-Ed B Leagues. League fees are $275 per team and must be paid at the time of registration. Games will be played at South Valley Jr. High 2034 S. Lindsay Road on Monday evenings between 6:00 and 10 p.m. The league begins Monday, Sept. 12.

Fall wrestling league for youth planned by community services
Gilbert Community Services Department is offering a fall wrestling league for youth age 6 through sixth grade. It is an instructional league with matches occurring on the nal day of the program. The league will take place Monday and Wednesday evenings Sept. 7 through Oct. 5. The league is being conducted by Highland High Wrestling Coach Russ Kilpatrick and will be held in the Highland High School wrestling room. Times are 4:30-5:15 p.m. for participants age 6 through third grade and 5:20-6:20 p.m. for participants in third through sixth grade. The league fee is $55 and includes a Tshirt. AT&T expands Gilbert mobile broadband coverage
AT&T recently announced the activation of a new mobile broadband cell site in Gilbert that will enhance coverage for area residents and businesses. The new cell site in Gilbert is enhancing coverage for residents and businesses in the area around the intersection of Power and Ray Roads, according to a press release The new cell site is one part of AT&Ts ongoing efforts to drive investment and innovation to deliver the nations best, most advanced mobile broadband experience for customers. From 2008 to 2010, AT&T invested nearly $175 million in its Phoenix area wireless and wireline networks.
