ABSTRACT

THE PROBLEM STUDIED:

The problem I teach in class is some of the student lost concentrations in class. I always give concentrations for my entire student. I tried to found what the problem and lastly I found some of the student always talking in class and disturbing other student to study. This student always talking in class and I also ask other teacher who is taught this class and the teacher tell me that this student likes that before, she always talking in class. Other than that, some of student doing their own work for example doing the other teacher homework they not finish yet. So, when I ask some question to them, they cannot answer and frighten because I ask their name. Other than that, in my class got one student always sleep in my class. When I ask, I know this student is working part time, so this student always sleep because feel tired working outside and not have a rest.

THE METHOD USED:

Im give motivation to them before I started the class because they can know what the objective they came to class. I also remembered them about their parents satisfaction, how their parents do anything to send them to learn in school. I always tell them what they can do if they not concentrate in class and the effect they can get from their attitude and habit. I am also told them their parent hopes they come to school to learn, for example the student always sleep in class, I am not scolded them in front of their friends because Im afraid this student feel embarrassed with their friends but I ask and see this student in outside the class and I tried ti know this student problem.

Second I can use Student Centered Strategies. In a student centered classroom, students are encouraged to participate actively in learning the material as it is presented rather than being passive and perhaps taking notes quietly. Students are involved throughout the class time in activities that help them construct their understanding of the material that is presented. The instructor no longer delivers a vast amount of information, but uses a variety of hands-on activities to promote learning. Students working in groups and I learned more about studentcentered learning environments, for example I began to alter the way I taught my commerce classes. I have now developed a group of learning lectures using PowerPoint presentations, in class collaborative learning, peer presentations, ongoing assessment techniques, and group homework projects. Third, I can do Mini-Lectures. In class, the students work out of a syllabus in which I included the Power Point notes. I dont include the solution slides in the notes, but show them after students have given their answers. The same modules are available on my web site for review and do include the solutions. In the classroom, I use a simple media cart with the presentation system on the top level along with my laptop. Fourth is Formative Assessment, there are a variety of other types of formative assessments that can be used in a chemistry class to assess what students are thinking and learning each day. Other than that, Share paragraph during class or at the end of class, students are given a few minutes to write a short paragraph in their own words that explains that major ideas discusses that day. They share their paragraphs with other students, and give feedback to each other. They may turn the paragraphs in as they leave class. I return them the next day and discuss any topics that were not clear. I obtain instant feedback in their thinking and students learn to summarize information. Fifth, Peer Presentations for example I can ready to review several chapters for an exam, I hand out a review worksheet or note a different questions from the text to each study team in the classroom. Students manage to find a way to work together regardless of the shape of the classroom. They discuss the problem and write up a solution and do a discussion. Other that Afi can ask one or two students describe their solution to the class using an overhead projector. I am always impressed with the ability of students to

articulate their work and to teach a class. I interject a thought or clarification as needed, but most of the time it is a student who asks a question or makes a suggestion. As long as students are given the time to prepare their solution, the peer presentation is a positive experience that strengthens the self-confidence of many students.

THE MAIN RESULTS:

The results I got is the student who is talking, she not talking in class, this student can control and give attention to me. This student not disturb their friend when I in teach this class. The student who is always doing their own work, this student now can respect me and give cooperation to me when I am taught them. If I ask some question to them, they can give a relevant respond although they not know what the specific answer but I am joyful because they know what I am teach them. The student who is sleep in class, can control and this student tried to give attention when I teach the class. All my homework these students did and do their responsibilities.

THE MAIN CONCLUSIONS:

The conclusions I get is the teacher not only good in knowledge, the teacher also must know how to be a good teacher. As a teacher we also must know and pay attention the student problem. We are not just teaching in class but do not know the environment in class. As a teacher we cannot blame the student one hundred percent, we must used our profession to solve this problem. We must use the best and difference technique to attacks the student give cooperation and pay attention to our classes. Some of the student not likes if the teacher always scolded them and tried to found their mistake even the mistake can be excuse but as a teacher we must use the best way technique. We cannot angry to them and use the bad word because that is not the profession of teacher. Teacher can scolded the student but we cannot use our power to use in wrong way. We take our power to use in good way for example we can ask

them in nice talking because some the student can hear what we are talking about if we are talk in nice word. The student is different attitude and difference background, so we must know before we do anything. As a teacher I must look overall in class and if something happen, I must try to think and found the best way to solve this problem even I got many risk. Teacher must know to attack the student for example is student collaboration and peer instruction using non-graded classroom assessments and team worksheets in a student-centered classroom provides continuous feedback to both students and instructor throughout the class time. Students interact with each other as well as the instructor, which means they are processing ideas and learning. They are using new vocabulary in a non-intimating setting and participating in problem solving as they work and explain concepts to other students. The introduction of a student-centered classroom is an exciting way to put learning back in teaching while providing students with the tools for lifelong learning and success. For me, the move to more student-centered teaching has been a most exciting way to put learning back into teaching while providing students with the tools for lifelong learning and success. The teaching profession is not easy as a talk. As a teacher I must know many aspects, I must know how to teach student in new globalization and I must get ready any time and follow the new era to improve my profession.
