Application suite lead in support and maintenance project


Gap Inc, San Bruno , CA.Oct 2008 till date Lead the inventory and planning ASM team comprising of 8 onsite and 30 offshore members. The application footprint includes RMS 10GAP , Retek top plan, Retek demand forecasting (RDF), in house built RFID count , on demand counts (ICOD), custom built operational reporting system(ODS), Franchise portal Reduced number of production incidents by more than 50% by implementing regressive problem management activities. Ensures delivery by efficiently planning and tracking project progress, managing customer expectation, timely communication of status and challenges to customer. Mentored the team in building technical and functional expertise of the complex application footprint integrated with over more 30 legacy applications through complex custom interfaces. Integration track lead in end to end implementation of Oracle Retail v12

July 2007 to Sept 2008 Lead the team comprising of 2 onsite and 15 offshore members working on integration of ORMS, ORA, SIM, ORWMS, ORPM,OReSA,OReIM with franchisor systems. Designed integration solution for interfacing foundation data (Dept/Class/Subclass/Diffs/Item/UDA), purchase orders, EDI invoice, allocation, transfers, ASN, promotions and price changes, Sales&returns transactions between Oracle retail modules and Franchisor systems. Instrumental in understanding AS-IS process flow and propose TO-BE process flow. Called out various system restrictions and changes. Lead SME in defining the system and integration testing strategy for allocation, sales auditing , pricing, inventory , invoice matching processes in Oracle retail modules ORA,OReSA,ORPM,ORMS, OReIM respectively Pivotal in eliminating ambiguity in functional requirements which were slowly becoming the bottleneck for solution design. Defined the solution to process the direct to store, Cross docked PO and allocation creation.

Williams Sonoma Inc,San Francisco,CA. Feb 2006 to Jun 2007 Lead of the team comprising of 1 onsite and 15 offshore members working on the project to sunset of JDA system and rollout of various Williams Sonoma Brands into ORMS V10.5. Designed and implemented the brand rollout activities like configurations, JDA data conversion, data migration, implementation execution steps and rollback strategies. Executed mock conversions before brand rollout, worked with business partners to cleanse the JDA data. Worked with business to define the approach of data validation and prepare conversion balance sheet Successfully executed roll out four WSI brands into RMS 10.5, conversion balance report with more than 95% accuracy. Won accolades for defining the process and solution of store to store inventory movement within stipulated time. Worked with business partners to elicit requirements of business enhancements. Lead the team in solution design, development and implementation of seven enhancements

Development module lead/Developer in implemenation of Yantra WMS v6.2


Flensberg, Germany.....Jul 2003 to Jan 2006 Considering the complexity of integrating robotic system(MFC) with Yantra DCS 6.2 , this project was one of the most challenging assignments in my professional career. The solution leveraged alert inbox mechanism to integrate MRF and Yantra. Designed and developed DC Work order processing (pick, VAS, packaging) in Yantra. Also, developed integration modules and around 15 user query screens. Won accolades from both Infosys as well as Motorola for developing efficient programs considering the complex nature of system integration. Post go live was part of application support team and was instrumental in stabilizing the system by identifying failure scenarios and providing fix for it. Won accolades from Motorola management for efficient training to end users than reducing number of production incidents and increasing productivity.
