I have gone ahead and compiled a list of great .EDU and .GOV backlinks for you all to use.

They are on various platforms and sites so in order to get them done as quickly and easily as possible simply follow my instructions for each link. Many of these are profile links which means you need to sign up for a forum, you will need a valid e-mail to activate your profile unless I specify otherwise for that site. Enjoy! Please note that you may wish to ping or social bookmark your profile links for faster indexing. I personally do not, I just keep building more.
