Rugby Northeast Game Change Procedure

1. General The following procedure will be used to change the scheduled day or time of a conference game after the schedule has been finalized and published.

A. Contact your opponent to inform them of the proposed change

B. Email the Conference Commissioner with the change request and CC: the point of contact from the opposing team. Include in the email both the old and new game day and time, and the reason for the change. C. Conference Commissioner will review, and approve or deny. D. If approved, the Conference Commissioner will notify both teams, and the Director of Marketing & Communications. E. The Director of Marketing & Communications will make the change on the published schedule online.

2. Acceptable Reasons for Game Changes

The following is a list of acceptable reasons for changing games; A. Field Availability B. Referee Availability C. Weather

3. Acceptable Kick-off Times

The kick-off times listed below are acceptable for conference games. It is assumed the 1st Team will kick-off first in the ranges given, followed by a JV game. Visiting teams should expect to comply if the host team requests any of these time slots with the exception of Saint Michaels. Teams may mutually agree to play on days or times not listed below.

A. Friday:

07:30pm - 08:30pm B. Saturday: 10:00am - 08:00pm C. Sunday: 10:00am - 04:00pm *Saint Michaels must kick-off no later than 4pm on Saturdays or Sundays due to travel restrictions. **Providence & Saint Michaels do not have access to lights.
