INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRONICS SECTOR

SECTORS TO LOOK FOR IN 2011:


The Indian electronics industry is aiming at an ambitions target of US $ 125 billion by 2014.However,India lags behind other Asian countries considerably in electronics hardware manufacturing. Seeing the vibrancy of the electronics manufacturing sectors, the government has also shifted its focus towards. Another unique area of growth is the domestic power electronics industry. The unprecedented growth in the demand for Indian electronics has also spawned a corresponding spurt in this industry. The LED market in India is worth US $ 130 billion, which is projected to take a huge leap to US $ 200 billion by 2020.

COMPETITION: Major players like Infomedia lead the B2B market in India with a substantial amount of issues popular amongst business verticals. Market is highly fragmented with many magazines but mostly single owner, single magazine types. Foreign players are making inroads with off shoring engagements with Indian publishers.

SUMMARY: Magazine is evently balanced in terms of articles & advertisements. All the Ads which are featured in the magazine are on the RHS, which tells the publications efforts to give the advertisers maximum value. Layout of the page particularly in the sections like Industry Report, speak out & Cover story is really excellent since here the images shade has been used with the headlines which makes the whole content more valuable. Most of the core advertisement are placed in the first half of the magazine where as the latter part has a lot of events details. As the number of pages are just sixty the magazine is handy to use.

When it comes to website the publication house gives complimentary service to their advertisers, which gives better chance of online promotion. The website doesnt look tidy. Most of the important sections have been given a particular tab. Banner ads also give better visibility for the potential consumers.

CONCLUSION :

Working with green studio was a greet experience. I got the know lot of things and I got to learn new things and total concept of this magazine was really very exciting and new. Our magazine use to make people aware of electronics products and my work was to talk some agency who want to publish advertisement in this magazine. It was over all good experience, I would look forward to work with green studio in future .
