Step 1
Remove the front door (if present)
If your system includes a front door (for example, Centera systems), remove the door and set it aside, away from your installation area.

Remove the ramp and shipping material from the cabinet
1. Remove the plastic covering from the cabinet. 2. Remove the ramp bumper. 3. To release the ramp from the pallet, grasp the ramp, pull it straight back toward you, then pull it straight up to free it from the screws.

Step 3
Attach the unloading ramp
1. Insert the ramp brackets into the pallet notches in the rear of the pallet.

Remove the cabinet shipping brackets
1. At the rear of the cabinet, open the door and remove the rear shipping bracket. 2. At the front of the cabinet, remove the bottom bezel, if necessary, and the front shipping bracket. Save the bolts. You may need them later to install optional stabilizer brackets.

Step 5
Roll the cabinet down the ramp
IMPORTANT Make certain the leveling feet are secured in the UP position before moving the cabinet. Secured feet allow the cabinet to roll off the ramp and into position. If you need to adjust the leveling feet, use an adjustable wrench and turn the feet clockwise to raise them to the UP position.

The cabinet is heavy. Make certain you have sufficient help and secure footing before rolling the cabinet onto the ramp. L'armoire est lourde. IMPORTANT Balance the cabinet from the sides; do not grasp the plastic bezels or other components on the front of the cabinet.

Attach (optional) stabilizer brackets
If your system includes front and/or back stabilizer brackets, be sure the cabinet is in its final location before attaching them. Then use the shipping bracket bolts and mounting holes to attach the bracket(s) to the cabinet and floor. (The additional brackets help to prevent the cabinet from tipping while you service cantilevered levels, or from rolling during minor seismic events.)

Install the front door
If your system includes a front door for the cabinet (for example, Centera systems), install the door now. 1. Position the lower hinge on the hinge bolt at the bottom of the cabinet. 2. Pull down the spring hinge bolt in the top of the door, and position it directly under the cabinet hinge. 3. Release the spring hinge and let it snap into place, securing the door to the cabinet.

Remove the shipping plates

Note: The rear door is removed for clarity. The shipping plates across the rear of the cabinet provide rigidity during shipping.

Install cabinet trim
In some cases, the upper trim/bezel ships unattached from the cabinet. Unpack the trim kit, and push the bezel onto the ball studs at either side of the top front of the cabinet.
