Polashi’s War:

By disobeying Mir Jafor’s command, Mir Modon, Mohon Lal, Sardar Sing Haya
fought in the favor of Shirajadullah at the bank of Bhagirathi River.
Nabab Shirajadullah was arrested by Mir Kashem (Husband of Mir Jafor’s
daughter) at Bhogoban-Bhola ghat.

In the war Robert clive formed a bangal army called “first Bengal native
infantry”. which helped the British win the war. Later, the infantry was declared
to be “the war owner.”
But Robert Clive was called in UK and punished after due to his immoral
activities including: 1. Killing an excessive number of civilians.
2. Taking bribe from Mir Jafor of 36 lakh Rupees.

After the British take over, all the high-end people like landlords, businessman
started to loot from the low-end people like farmer.
7 years after polashi’s war, a man named Fakir Majnu Shah declared a strike
against it. After his death, Musa Shah, Cherag Ali shah, komol Shah continued to
fight against.

In Shandip, Deloar kha (Farmer activist), Dudu Mia, Abu Torak fought against
the British.
In Tripura, Shomsher Gazi fought against the landlord and got the victory.
Titumir:
Real name: Mir Nisar Ali.
Death: 1831.
Titumir defeated British twice.
Built Bamboo Fort in 1831 at Narkel-bariya, 24-porgona.
Miskin Shah helped Titumir with 11thaosand fighters to British invasion.
British army knew that bamboo is flammable and set fire to it.
Under the command of Carl Scott, the British invasion killed Titumir and spread
his corps ash all over the Bengal to spread fear among Bengal people.

Congress:
Formed in 1885.
Muslim league:
Formed in 1906.

1. Bangla: Dhaka, Chottogram, Rajshahi (Malda), Shyllet (Asham), cumilla
(parbotto Tripura)
2. Bihar: West Bengal.
3. Urissha: separated.

Bangabhongo was situated first in Calcutta and Dhaka.

Landlords, businessman, raja’s, officers supported bangabhongo.
Low laying people denied bangabhongo.
In 1901 Lord Karjon came to bangla and in 1911 he halted bangabhongo.
But to take revenge, they:
1. Replaced the capital from Calcutta to Delhi.
2. Devided the hindus and muslims.

In 1923, Kolkata Municipal Corporation Election:

1. Desh-Bondhu Chittoronjon Dash became the mayor.
2. Hossain Shohid Sohowardi became deputy mayor.
3. Netaji Shubhash Chandro Bosh became chief Executive Officer.
They together formed Bengal Pack to stop “Danga” in 1923.
Bengal pack terms:
1. Only muslims will be elected in muslim area and hindus will be only elected
in hindu area. As a result, muslims were elected in 55% of the area.
2. Muslims will get 55% Kota for governmental recruitment.
3. In the time of Ajan there will be no disturbance.
4. Muslims can sacrifice Cow for religious purpose in their area.
For these terms the “Danga” came to an end.
CR Dash became the face of India.

But in 1925 CR Dash died in Darjeeling.

In 1927 congress lead by Gandhi claimed power and stopped Bengal pack. As a
result, again “Danga” started.

Muslim league:
Formed in 1906.
Mohammad Ali Jinnah became the leader of Muslim league.

Muslim league was formed with the inspiration of Nobab Solimullah and with
the help of Nobab Bhikar Ul Mulk, in the presence of Sher-e-Bangla Ak. Fazlul
Haque.
