Cover Page: School Name, Research Question, Candidate Name, Candidate Number, Subject, Session/Year, Word count & Supervisor s Name y Abstract: i. RQ, ii. Scope of investigation: how you approached it (type of secondary data and primary data if any) that has helped in paper analysis, what do these sources of data reveal: A summary of what you did, and what you found out. The purpose of it is to allow someone too lazy to read the whole essay to find out what you did. iii. Conclusion: Answer to the RQ, observations if any. iv. Word Count 300 words

Comment on the worthiness of the investigation: This means that you need to write about - what you are intending or expecting to find out and to explain how you will know when you have met your goals

Methodology i. How you will approach the question: What you will do to answer/prove the question/thesis. i.e. What form will your research take, and why is this the best method. Include both secondary and primary sources. Secondary enjoying a higher ratio. To what extent have these sources been effective? Mention the positives and negatives of these along with their validity. Justify why this is the best approach to take.

Background Research: Explain appropriate theory ( Key words mentioned in the RQ): E.g. for the organization being investigated. Analysis: Illustrate the important findings from secondary and primary sources: Investigation must be planned, diverse range of appropriate sources /data must be chosen: (This should explain what your research has told you) Do not just tell me what your data says, but interpret it. (conclusion of an analytical tool from the syllabus could be used) Apply the theory to secondary and primary data you gathered.

Bibliography i. A list of all the published work you have used. E.g. Books, periodicals, newspapers, websites etc. in MLA format

Have you checked that you have cited all of the listed sources? Have you correctly listed all of the sources, following the Harvard Method of Referencing and citation. Appendices: Have you referenced all of your appendices in your essay? Abstract: Is it under 300 words? Does it include the research question? Does it say what you did? Presentation: Does it have an accurate table of contents? Have you used size 12 Times New Roman font? Is text fully justified? Are bullet points etc uniformly indented Are margins equal size? Also, not too close to the edge that text will be lost if hole punched. Have all sources been referenced using the Harvard method? Is it double spaced? Is it typed? Does each page have a header with your name, candidate number, and centre number? Are all pages numbered? Do the page numbers correspond to the table of contents? Is the front page filled in correctly?
