Additional Background Information: During the late 70's, early 80's I made a career change from the automotive industry...severe allergy to petroleum base products. The creation of HSR was a result of several years of electronic and electromechanical hobbying and due to my experience living in a home environment that consisted of multiple disabled adults. Myself and a few supporting business partners/associates registered the company in Oregon as a not-forprofit 501(C(3)) with the intent to research, design, and develop custom devices for the handicapped. HSR was liquidated in 1986 due to the high cost of medical liability insurance. At this point, I started Information Systems Research, a local technology based consulting firm. I have several years experience with Information Technology Research, industry trends and forecasting, technology training, microcomputer system consulting, home office planning and setup, Point of Sale systems (POS), Barcoding and inventory management, networking, Systems Analysis, Re-

engineering & Systems Planning, Process/task Research. Along with Windows 7, XP, Server 2003, Microsoft Office, Anti-virus and malware protection software, new multi-core processors, huge hard drives, and network storage devices and installations, I have experience with computer controlled NCN equipment, Plasma cutters, Automotive alignment machines, retail store People Counters, Electro-mechanical controls, telephone systems, In floor heating controls and systems, and Passive solar heat exchangers. As an avid RVer, I have experience with power inverters, gensets, low voltage rewiring, and PEX tubing based plumbing systems. Through the years , I have worked with several different types of computer systems; Morrow Designs MD3, Kaypro, Ampro, Apple I, II, IIe, Macintosh, Multi-User Northstar Horizon, Multi-User Inner Access Noel, Teletek S100, Sage II & IV, SBE Lundy Graphic Design Workstation, Telex, Grid, and of course the IBM-PC when it was introduced in Aug. of 1981. I also learned/encountered several computer specific application packages and operating systems; Wordstar, Logicalc, Personal Pearl, MBASIC, CP/M, MP/M, CP/M-86, TurboDOS, NDOS, Mirage, 86-DOS(the Seattle Microcomputer operating system from which MS-DOS originated), InfoSphere 1.0(Novell Netware), Concurrent DOS 5.2XM (Novell DOS 7.0), MS-DOS 1.0 through 7, DBASE II, III, III+, Multiplan, Apple DOS, ProDOS, Supercalc, Lotus 123, Multimate, Wordperfect 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 4.2, 5+, Professional Write, Open Access, GWBASIC, Regulus (Unix system III), Turbo C, Forth (robotic control language), Smalltalk CP/M (first generation object oriented language for the micro environment) and others I fail to remember.
