Here is a reminder to students. It is nave and perhaps even short-sighted to think that education must and will cover all topics related to your skills and prepare you for the occupation or career you intend to pursue. It is the journey and not just about the destination. The intent of this module is essentially to provide a window to the real working world where the skills of your trade is not the only thing that makes you an asset to the organisation you will be working with. Other attributes like good communication skills, leadership, teamwork, foresight, skills in conflict and crisis managements, good inspirational and motivational skills, being affable, others-before-self attitude, pro-active stance towards life, caring nature, thoughtfulness, compassion, honesty, humility, moral uprightness and the list can go on to infinity. Very often, these require lateral thinking and the ability to envision the future in your minds' eye for a better world with or without you. Now, that's the spirit! Go on... make that change.
