ONLINE Pre Examination Instruction & Disclaimer The Guidelines for Conduct of Online Examinations should be communicated to all

students .Besides ,the following instructions should also be incorporated in the Guidelines already provided to ACeL .

Time Allowed 2hrs (120 minutes) from the time of first login. There will be FIVE Sections. Each will have 20 questions. All the sections are compulsory. All questions therein are compulsory. There will be 80 questions in section A each question of 0.75 mark and there will be 10 questions in the Section B each carrying 1 mark. Total 90 MCQs. All questions are OBJECTIVE multiple choice. Each question will have at least 4 choices. The examination site will remain operational for two hours as per prescribed time schedule,student need to complete his/her exam within this time limit no further extra time will be allowed.

a)The student should secure minimum 35% marks in end term examination of each course unit to qualify in a subject. However, the aggregate of internal continuous assessment and end term examination should be atleast 40%. The score of internal continuous assessment and end term examinations are not complementary to each other. b) Student failing to secure qualifying marks will be declared FAIL, and shall have to reappear in the next end-term examination on payment of examination fee of Rs 500/- per subject.Not more than two chances will be available to qualify in a subject. Absence from appearing in the examination after filling up the examination form will be reckoned for counting the two appearing chances . c)The student will not be allowed to leave his seat during the examination for more than five minutes .If the student overstays outside the examination hall or does not operate the system for five minutes ,the system will automatically be logged off /shutdown .

d)The examination site will remain operational for two hours as per prescribed time schedule. Student need to complete his/her exam within this time limit .No extra time will be allowed.
Disclaimer

1. Student taking up the exam is responsible for uninterrupted internet connectivity, power back-up, and availability of computer system in working condition during the examination(s). AMITY UNIVERSITY will not be held responsible in the event of any such non availability/failure. 2. If a student fails to submit his assignments before commencement of examination ,his /her admission to examination will be provisional .His/her result will not be declared if he/she fails to submit assignments within one week of the last date of examination .
3. Student will take up ONLINE exams on his/her expense and will not be entitled to any reimbursement of expenses from AMITY UNIVERSITY.
