On August 13, 1727 the Holy Spirit was poured out among the Moravians in Herrnhut, Germany during a communion service. They were transformed into the renewed Moravian Church. Today after worship we will take up a special offering to support our Elders Discretionary Fund. ReminderLadies Night Out is this coming Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at the church. The cost is $15 per person. Entertainment will be provided by comedian and motivational speaker Phyllis Elvington. Next Sunday we will continue our celebration of the August Thirteenth Festival with a lovefeast during worship. The band will play a prelude at 9:15 a.m. Thanks to everyone who participated or helped out with Vacation Bible School last week. We had 42 children registered.
