Preface
This paper addresses the most important contributors to the economic development of The Republic of China. There are presented the most important monogragh aspects on The Republic of China, as well as analysis concerning its unprecedented international rise. According to an IMF's report published in April 2011, it is estimated that China's economy will surpass that of America in 2016. According to these data, China's economy will rise from $11.2 trillion in 2011 to $19 trillion in 2016, while the economy to the United States will from $15.2 trillion to $18.8 trillion. The Republic of China will have 18 percent of world production, while America only 17.7 percent. However another survey conducted by Standard Chartered Bank estimated that the economy of The Republic of China will surpass the United States in 2020. This study disproves the allegations of the International Monetary Fund's report, showing that in terms of macroeconomic indicators (GDP), the GDP of the United States will continue to be higher than that of The Republic of China, currently with 130% and in 2016 with only 70%. The paper details the overall picture of the Chinese economy reform and achievements recorded in its account, both regional trade relations and other international partners such as: the EU and the United States, but also the major changes that occurred in the economic and social development during the five decades of existence of the New China. It cannot be overlooked the role of foreign investments in developing the The Republic of China and the regional economic development, when it has been strongly affirmed the economic reform from The Republic of China.
