TheAsPlannedCPMNetwork TheAsPlannedCPMnetworkrepresentsthecontractorsplanforprosecutingthescopeofworkknownas ofbidday.InsomecasestheprojectCPMnetworkisdevelopedseveralweeksafterNTPisissued.Itis imperativethattheCPMnetworkdevelopmentteambuildtheasplannedCPMnetworkwithblinderson, sothatinformationreceivedafterbiddayisnotincorporatedintotheprojectplan.Forexample,the contractormayfindoutafterthebiddatethatthesoilonsiteiscontaminated.Theadditionaltimefor removalofthecontaminatedsoilmustnotbeincludedintotheBaselineAsPlannedCPMnetwork.Without aBaselineAsPlannedCPMnetworkasareferencepoint,thetimeimpactfortheaddedscopeofwork (contaminatedsoil)cannotbeaccuratelymeasured. Inthatcase,theownerwouldberesponsibleforcompensatingtheGCandsubcontractorsforadditional generalconditions(fieldoverhead)costs.
