Logos 21: Gods Word in the 21st Century

-a Witness Great men and women of history have looked to the Scriptures for inspiration, guidance, and hope. Our dreams for a better tomorrow are guided by the Scriptures. George Washington said, It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Scriptures. Abraham Lincoln said, The Bible is the best gift God has ever given to men... All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated to us through this Great Book the sacred Scripture. In the Bible, we learn that the Messiah of Israel, the Son of God, promises eternal life to all that believe in the Scriptures. Every chapter contains a reason to believe in our Savior. The word believe occurs at least 100 times. Everyday people, all over the world folks just like you everyday people with everyday problems put faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus offers the gift of eternal life to those who believe the truth of the Scriptures. Eternal live is already yours if you are reading the light of this word. The Scripture tells us: In the beginning was the word. The word was with God. The word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him. Apart from Him nothing was made. In Him was Life. Life was the Light of men eternal Life. The Light shined in the darkness. Yet the darkness did not grasp it. Then appeared a Man sent by God. John gave testimony of the Light, so that all might believe through him. John the Baptist came to testify about the Light. The Light of John gives light to everyone who comes into our world. John is in the world, and the world is remade through Him. Yet, the world does not fully know him yet. John tells us, The One coming after me ranks ahead of me, because He was before me. We learn of Moses. He has thereby made Him known. God tells John, I am crying in my voice to make a strait road in the desert for the Lord. John responds, Among you stands someone you do know. John is not lost in the presence of the Lord. John is found. He observes then, the Spirit of God coming down like a dove out of

Heaven. The Spirit rests upon Him. John acquires great wisdom. John will stand with two of his disciples. He will see Jesus among his disciples. The disciples will proclaim, We have found the Messiah. The disciples will say, This is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit. One disciple of the Father will tell John, In the future, you will see Heaven opened up to the Angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man. Time will pass. Anticipation of His arrival will be known among the disciples. John will become wise in communion with the Angels of God. John will be raised up again into the Light. He will be raised up by the Angels of God. The Angels of God will offer John the keys to eternal life. The Lord will test John at the gates of Heaven, saying, Amen. I tell you. Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. John will be born into eternal life in the kingdom of God. So it is with everyone in Heaven who is born of the Spirit. John knows it is not of the flesh or of the blood but it is of the water and the Spirit of God. The Lord Jesus will speak to John saying, We testify that we have seen the Light. The Lord will then say to John, If I told you of the earthly things and you dont believe, how will you believe if I tell you of the heavenly things? The Lord will test His faith to see if John has earned the keys into the Kingdom of God. With faith in the Lord, John will pass into the Heavenly Kingdom. Whoever believes in Him the Lord, will not perish. John will have eternal life. Thus will be the judgment of God. The Light of John will come into our world.

John will testify to Gods people that love is all around us. And so the feeling of love will grow. Love will be written in the landscape surrounding John. John will say, We let the Light shine we let the love show. And our minds will be made up by the way we feel.

We live in stirring times. I have spent much of my time learning from the Scriptures. I have written my thoughts for Logos 21. Logos 21 suggests our desire to bring Gods Word (Logos) into the 21st century. More information about Logos 21 is found at www.livingwater.org
