Working as TechnicianDell IT Services (Legacy Perot Systems India Pvt. Ltd)-March 2009 till date Perot Systems has been providing technology-based business solutions that build trust by enabling our clients to cultivate growth & streamline operations in achieving objectives. Perot Systems tailors its flexible and collaborative solutions to meet the specific needs of their clients in healthcare, government, manufacturing, banking, insurance and other industries. Now Dell IT Services retains the same. Technical Support/Troubleshooting  System engineering with extensive domain expertise in handling, and managing Remote Resolution services. Having good knowledge on Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP etc.  This work includes implementation and resolution through Active Directory and several other applications (Eg. Ticketing Tool & Misc BMC Remedy Dameware, mainframe and Netmeeting RDP, Novell, Citrix Metaframe, VPN etc).  Configuring outlook 2003 (create *.pst, backup, create rules) problem resolve on sending & receiving, resolving security related Technical queries raised by the client.  Installing and troubleshooting of DNS with Installing and configuring DHCP server and configuring clients to get IP-address from DHCP sever.

Current Responsibilities              Implementing Group policy and deployment of software through Group policy. Basic and advanced level server monitoring Data Backup through TSM (Tivoli storage mgmt) and Veridas software. Installing/Supporting and configuring Windows 2003 Servers. Installation of Hotfixes on the servers as per the Microsoft recommendations. Installation of Antivirus Server and maintaining daily updates. Rectifying and resolving the alerts for all the servers. Maintaining Directory including security domains, user profiles & other resources on the network. Meeting the SLA. Coordinating with Customers before and after the executions of Request for Change. Active Directory user management such as creation of LAN IDs. Creating User Accounts with defined access rights and privileges in case the user provisioning team is doesnt have appropriate accesses to a particular domain. Support Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and Remote installation services Responsible to Work with other teams as needed to resolve technical issues. Collaborate with Tech Leads, maintain SLA reports and escalation when appropriate.

Earlier experience and work engagements:-(Sept. 2007 Nov. 2008) Worked with Mphasis an EDS Company Noida, as a Sr. Technical Support Officer. Project: Bank Of America IT support Project details:-Interacting with the clients on calls and chats to provide Complete IT support for their enterprise purpose. This project is a Business to Business project and doesnt include support for non Bank of America employees. Skills Set and Responsibility owned:  MS Exchange Server & MS Outlook: User account maintenance, mailbox creations, Incident logging for Global Distribution list, shared mailbox, public folder creation and MS exchange server issues. Outlook troubleshooting & escalation of unresolved issues to the next level of support.  Managing Active Directory Users and Computer accounts: User account creation under various Organizational Groups, Deletions and Temporary suspension of accounts on administrative requests. The requests were forwarded via automated request filling system, but were handled via Microsoft consoles and not customi ed z tools.  Blackberry Enterprise Server and Devices: Trouble shooting account related issues on Blackberry enterprise server and providing support for activation of accounts on BB Devices.  Right Fax: Account creation and managing shared access to Right Fax Inbox. Trouble shooting commonly received errors and applications issues.  Mainframe Applications (CICS, TSO & TAO): Looking for signing related issues for mainframe application like CICS, TSO and TAO. Resolving account lockout issues and re-enabling temporarily disabled accounts and logins.  Windows XP: Providing complete support for all PC/Laptop related issues (except hardware issues) via remote desktop connections using Microsoft remote Desktop connection, IBM Support center or MS Communicator shared desktop. Installation of drivers and core enterprise applications for newly installed devices.

Troubleshooting error messages and taking care of Antivirus updates and virus threats.
