OVERVIEW
The Arlington Heights Sports Park is a 38-acre sports and community lifestyle venue located in a historic orange grove section of Riverside. The City of Riverside selected ValleyCrest as the integrated
design and prime contractor to deliver its first-ever design-build project at a contract amount of $13 million. ValleyCrest did not submit the lowest bid, but did present the best value with a great design In less than 18 months, the park was envisioned, awarded,
designed, built and opened to the public kudos to ValleyCrests design-build approach which successfully took the project from an idea with a set budget to a new, highly sought-after public amenity.
The team was able to control costs, manage availability schedule ultimately delivering a higher-quality product
completed within 18 months, several years earlier than traditional delivery methods would have allowed.
