Forbidden Ring Factory You can do the following to get an almost infinite number of Forbidden Rings (one at a time):

Start a new game with different character name. Play the new game until you open up a blacksmith and golem workshop. Get the forbidden ring from Daena. Temper the forbidden ring in blacksmith workshop, but don't add so many things to it. Find Professor Bomb in the Junkyard and he will do business with you. Have the altered forbidden ring pawned. Save the game to the same memory card but do not overwrite to the save you want to have the extra ring on. Load the save you want to keep and go to Professor Bomb's lab at the junkyard. Choose buy and get the forbidden ring from the temporary game you just saved. You will get the forbidden ring. You can repeat this as many times to get as many forbidden rings as you want. Tip: Quick Level Up After Bejewled City is Created, go to the next to top level and go into the Diamond gem room. There, there is a golem that hands out 900 exp per battle. Defeat him, walk out of the room, walk back in, repeat. To help level up your pets, just wear the forbiddon ring. Chocobo Go to Domina and to the empty house in the center of town. Look through the saved files on the memory card with the current information for your main character. Highlight a saved file from Final Fantasy VIII. Now head to the outskirts of town to catch the monster egg. It'll be a chocobo. Chocobos are much stronger than the rest of the monsters you can get. Duels You can invite another player to battle your character at the Underground Battle Arena in Geo. It is under Kristie's Palace. It is a great way to find out who has the best character amongst a group of friends! This can be fun...

Landbopper Mini-Game

Place nine lands so that the entire screen is full of them. Put them all into view and hold L1 for about five seconds to start this mini-game. The game is like Whack-a-Mole. Have fun!

Quick Cash Some enemies drop valuable things. The dragons in the Bone Fortress drop Dragon Steaks which sell for 1000 Lucre. Polter Boxes in the SS Buccaneer drop interesting stuff too. Try to find out other places where you can get quick cash. This is very useful to know when it is time to build golems.

Really Strong Sword Go to Domina and to the empty house in the center of town. Look through the saved files on the memory card with the current information for your main character. Highlight a saved file from SaGa Frontier II and go to the Bone Fortress and head to the Ribcage Hallway. Talk to the skeletons to do battle with Deathbringer II. Kill him to get the strongest sword from SaGa Frontier II.

Renaming Items By double-clicking on the name of a weapon or armour you can change its name to make it more personalized!

Shadow-Zero Mini-Game After finishing The Teardrop Stone go to the bar in Domina on Salamander Day. Talk to the Shadow-Zero there to start this game. The Fastest Wheel Go to Domina and to the empty house in the center of town. Look through the saved files on the memory card with the current information for your main character. Highlight a saved file from Chocobo Racing and exit the screen. Go to Polpota Harbor to meet Skippie. He'll give you this ring/bracelet. Note: You must have finished Catchin' Lilipeas.

Word Translations In the town where you have to sell lamps for someone, you will encounter a Dudbear. They are type people that only speak with the following words: Dub: Yes Dud: No, goodbye Duba: You Duda: Me Dubba: Friends Buba: Dudbear Gug: All other creatures Da: Light or stars Ba: Night Dudda: Lamp Dubababa: Many or very Du: Little Baba: Music Dada: Please Gak: Displeasure Bub: Do not understand Use Characters From Another Save After you have unlocked Geo, you can go to Kristies palace. In the basement there is a battle arena where you can summon people off of your other saved games. Then leave the arena now you can have fun with your other character.

Secret Sword Have a saved game from SaGa Frontier 2 on the same memory card as the one used for Legend Of Mana. Enter the save screen, highlight the SaGa Frontier 2 file, then exit out of the save screen. Enter Bone Fortress and head toward the bridge where you fought the DeathBringer. There will be two skeletons at that location. Approach them and you will fight DeathBringer 2. After defeating it, you will get the strongest sword from SaGa Frontier 2.

Get Fastest Wheel Beat the "Catchin' Lilipeas" quest and have a saved game from Chocobo Racing on the same memory card as the one used for Legend Of Mana. Highlight the Chocobo Racing file, then exit out of the save screen. Go to Polpota Harbor. On the Polpota Harbor map screen Skippy, the thin big eared creature from the "Catchin' lilipeas" and "Huntin' Du'cate" quests, will appear and hand you a ring item called "Fastest Wheel."

Shadow Zero Mini-Game Beat the then "Jewel hunter" quests (The Lost Princess, The Flame of Hope, Drowned Dreams, The Looking-Glass Tower, The Lucky Clover, Cosmo, Two Pearls, Alexandrite, Flourite, and Tear Drop Crystal). When those events are finished, go to the bar in Domina on Salamander day. You should see a Shadow Zero standing near the counter. Talk to him to play the game.

Land Bopper Mini-Game Get nine lands in full view on the world map (which should resemble a slanted tic-tac-toe board). Then, hold L1 button for approximately four seconds to get the Land Bopper start screen to appear.

Get a Chocobo To get a Chocobo as a pet, have a saved game from Final Fantasy 8 on the same memory card as the one used for Legend Of Mana. Enter the save screen, highlight the Final Fantasy 8 file, then exit out of the save screen. When you catch a bird egg in the eastern section of Domina it should hatch into a Chocobo.

The Forbidden Tome After you beat the game save, then load the saved game go to the Encyclopedia. There will be a new book; Forbidden Tome, it will have Normal mode, Knightmare mode or No Future mode.

Two Player Duel If you want to fight a friend, travel to Geo and go to the uppermost dot. Enter the building and go past Sotherbee into the basement. Continue down once more and talk to the Garlic Guy. You can fight against an NPC or a friend's character.
