August 31 (incidents are from shifts starting August 30): 11-251727, Suspicious Vehicle, Stonecreek Dr & Brewerton Dr, 1:09 p.m., Officers responded to the sounds of a possible gunshot near an elementary school. Officers arrived on scene and canvassed the area. A witness described seeing a dark colored vehicle leave the area shortly after the incident. There was no evidence that a hand gun had been fired. 11-251402, Stolen Vehicle, 2300 Block of American Ave, 7:18 a.m., Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle and their occupants, who were walking away from the car. It was found that the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier that day. Arrested was Kevin Arcusa, 19years old. August 30 (incidents are from shifts starting August 29): 11-251364, Subject Stop, San Juan Rd / Truxel Rd, 3:32 a.m., Officers attempted to detain a subject on his bicycle but fled upon initial contact. Suspect was eventually taken into custody. Arrested for an outstanding parole warrant was David Eggman 43 years old. 11-250976, Sexual Assault, San Juan Rd & Duckhorn Dr, 4:57 p.m., Officers arrested suspect Keith Wright, 31 years old. He is suspected to be in connection with a home invasion/sex assault that occurred in the north Natomas neighborhood earlier this month. August 26 (incidents are from shifts starting August 25): 11-247192, Traffic Accident, San Juan Rd / Northgate Blvd, 10:45 p.m., While driving his patrol car, an officer was struck by an SUV traveling eastbound San Juan Rd that ran a red light. The officer sustained minor injuries. Damage to both vehicles was minimal. 11-247237, Robbery, 2400 block of Northgate Blvd, 2333, An employee called police to report that a customer had been robbed in the parking lot of the business.

The alleged victim did not wait for police to arrive. Police were unable to get any further information. Possible suspects were two male Black adults wearing white t-shirts. 11-246716, Threat, 3600 block of Truxel Rd, 3:11 p.m., An employee advised police that they received a threat at their store. Store management checked the business and didn't locate anything suspicious and continued business as usual. 11-245656, Suspicious Circumstances, Truxel Road/ Bannon Creek, 1:34 p.m., Victim was walking along the street when she was approached by two male Hispanics in their 20's, driving a dark colored full size van. The victim thought it was suspicious and fled on foot. August 25 (incidents are from shifts starting August 24): 11-245927, Theft, 3600 block of Truxel Rd, 6:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a large parking lot regarding two suspicious subjects. It was reported they were putting flyers on vehicle windows in addition to pulling on door handles. Officers contacted the suspects as they were driving away. Upon further investigation it was determined that the suspects were in possession of stolen property. Arrested was Vladsliv Baranovsch, 21 years old. 11-246019, Disturbance, 2400 block of Northgate Blvd, 8:10 p.m., Officers received a community complaint regarding subjects trespassing and exhibiting disruptive behavior. Officers contacted a subject in front of a local business and took her into custody for trespassing and an outstanding warrant. Arrested was Debbie Eszlinger, 46 years old. August 21 (incidents are from shifts starting August 20): 11-242386, Robbery , 4800 block of Kokomo Dr, 2 a.m., The suspect entered an unlocked door and robbed the victim at gunpoint. At some point during the robbery, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim. The suspect was described as a male Black 20's, 6'0", 200 lbs, wearing a white sweatshirt and baggie blue jeans. August 20 (incidents are from shifts starting August 19): 11-231760, Robbery, 3300 block of Fong Ranch Road, 7:19 p.m., Officer identified a suspect in a theft that occurred at the above location on 8/10/11 were a bicycle was stolen. Officers discovered that the suspect was in the 7400 block of Franklin Blvd and located her there with his sister, who also had a no bail warrant. The suspect, 14 yr old female, was charged with robbery and her sister, 18 yr old female, was taken for her theft warrant. 11-240922, Robbery, 1500 block of W El Camino Ave, 8:39 p.m., Two male adults entered the business and robbed it at gun point. Suspects were described as #1- male Hispanic, 6'0, 200 lbs, mask, hooded

sweatshirt, faded black jeans #2- male White or Asian 5-11, thin, mask, hooded sweatshirt, black jeans. 11-240807, Assault, 100 block of Luna Grande Cir, 1851, 12 yr old got into an argument with her aunt and began to assault her. The female juvenile was taken into custody. 11-240898, Suspicious Subject, 2400 block of Burberry Way, 2009, Victim, 13 yr old male, reported a male White, dark hair, 40's, driving an older black four door car, had gotten out of his car and was walking quickly in the child's direction. The child ran and saw the male get back into his car. The victim indicated that it appeared the subject was mad at him for some reason. August 18 (incidents are from shifts starting August 17): 11-238664, Welfare Check, 3800 block of Innovator Dr, 1634, Citizen reported a dog was locked inside a car. Officers responded and found the owner had locked the dog in car for 25 minutes while touring a fitness center. Officer cited the owner for animal cruelty and for parking in a handicapped stall. 11-239154, Assault, Azevedo Dr / Bannon Creek Dr, 0323, Victim called in to report that subjects in a white vehicle had shot at him with a pellet gun. The victim was not hit, but some of his belongings were. Officer located the vehicle and stopped it without incident at I-5/ West El Camino Ave. A BB gun was located in the vehicle. Two occupants a 22 yr old Isidro Fragoso and 20 yr old Anthony Northrop were arrested. August 17 (incidents are from shifts starting August 16): 11-237611, Shooting, Azevedo Drive/Yarwood, 2:23 p.m., Officers responded to the Shell station at the 2600 block of Gateway Oaks regarding a victim that had been shot. A witness was traveling on Azevedo Drive/Yarwood observed the injured victim on the side of the road. The witness put the victim in her vehicle and rushed him to the nearest business she could think of to call police/fire. Officers arrived to find the 19-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the lower chin. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation revealed that the victim was riding his bicycle in the area when approached by the male Black adult suspect. The suspect shot the victim and took the victims personal property. The suspect fled on foot to an awaiting vehicle. The victim was listed in critical condition. The suspect was described as a Male Black 17-20 years old, 5-9, 180 lbs, with an afro hair style. He was wearing a white tank-top, camouflage shorts and armed with a firearm. The vehicle was described as a 90s Pontiac Bonneville, sea foam green or silver in color. 11-237919, Robbery, 3800 block of Truxel Rd, 9:02 p.m., Victim met the suspect on-line and made arrangements to meet for the purchase of marijuana. The victim met the suspect near the parking lot of the above listed location. The suspect assaulted the

victim and stole his cash. The suspect was described as a male White adult, 5-11 to 6-1, 240-260lbs, 28-35 years old with a heavy build. The suspect was driving a black Cadillac Escalade. August 14 (incidents are from shifts starting August 13): 11-234746, Robbery, Westward Way / Edmonton Dr, 5:59 p.m., The 15-year-old victim and his friend were on the bike trail when they were approached by the two suspects. Suspect #1 punched the victim and removed his ipod and his shoes. Suspect #2 attempted to punch the victim's friend but the friend fought back. The suspects fled on the bike trail. Suspect #1 Male Black Juvenile, 15, 6-2, 150lbs thin with light complexion and a fade haircut, white t-shirt and blue shorts Suspect #2- Male Black Juvenile 15, 5-5, dark complexion with a fade haircut, white t-shirt and blue shorts. August 13 (incidents are from shifts starting August 12): 11-234182, Assault, Northgate Blvd / San Juan Rd, 12:19 a.m., A confrontation occurred between a man and a group of four others. Words were exchanged which lead to the victim being hit with a bottle. He sustained minor injuries. The suspects got away. August 12 (incidents are from shifts starting August 11): 11-231707, Sexual Battery, Northgate Blvd/ Haggin Ave, 6:11 p.m., Victim reported that she had been sexually touched inappropriately two times in the north Sacramento area over the last couple of months by unknown suspects. The incidents were not committed by the same suspects. 11-233104, Pursuit, San Juan Rd / Truxel Rd, 1:20 a.m., At approximately 12:11 a.m., a caller advised that a person she knew was wanted for being parolee at large and had been in the area. At approximately 0120 hrs, Officers were in the area still looking for the suspect. They observed a vehicle leave the area and believed that the driver was the wanted person. They activated their lights and sirens to affect an enforcement stop, but the vehicle failed to yield to their lights. A pursuit ensued eastbound on San Juan Rd and continued eastbound past Northgate. The suspect vehicle continued eastbound, until it turned northbound on Norwood Ave. The suspect vehicle then pulled over on Norwood. The driver was not the suspect but rather the original caller. The driver advised that she knew what kind of car the suspect was driving, so she was going to drive around the north area looking for him, while she had officers driving lights and sirens behind her. The female was cited for a misdemeanor pursuit violation. August 11 (incidents are from shifts starting August 10): 11-231712, Suspicious Vehicle, Greg Thatch Cir / Tres Piezas Dr, 1828, A caller advised they thought a vehicle matched the description of a attempt burglary vehicle described on the Natomas Buzz that occurred earlier in the day. Officers responded and contacted three males in a stolen Monte Carlo. Upon further investigation, several items found in the car appeared to be stolen. Found were several laptops, phones, GPS navigation system, misc jewelry, rare coins, gold bars, ect. The front passenger, 32 yr old male, was found to be in possession of heroin for sale. The driver, male 21 yrs old, was arrested for possession of a stolen car. The passenger in the rear seat, male 25 yrs old,

was arrested for possession of stolen property. 11-231799, Assault, Truxel Rd / W El Camino Ave, 2019, Victim and suspect, 23 yr old Joshua Moore, are breaking up from their relationship. Suspect rammed the car he was driving into the victim's car that was occupied by the victim and her two children (2 and 4 yrs old). Both cars sustained moderate damage. Moore also brandished a gun at the victim. Officers found the suspect and after a short foot pursuit, Moore was arrested. The gun was found to be a air-soft pistol. 11-231760, Robbery, 3300 block of Fong Ranch, 1919, Victim had his bicycle stolen by force. The suspect is known to the victim. August 8 (incidents are from shifts starting August 7): 11-228692, Suspicious Subjects, 310 Bowman Ave, 5:33 p.m. Officers responded to a call regarding armed subjects threatening people. The helicopter arrived first and saw four subjects, matching the description, get into a silver Chrysler Sebring and flee south on American. Ground officers arrived and attempted to stop the vehicle. One passenger jumped out and fled on foot. An officer caught him and took him into custody. A vehicle pursuit ensued with the car and two additional passengers exited the vehicle at Bannon Creek Dr/Azevedo. A perimeter was quickly established while the vehicle pursuit continued. At Azevedo/Cedro, the driver (now alone in the vehicle) yielded and was taken into custody. The two suspects in the perimeter were eventually located. Two guns were located and all four suspects were arrested. Arrested were a 23 year old male, a 20 year old male, and two 17 year old males. 11-229104, Robbery, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 1:39 a.m. The victim was in his garage when the armed suspect came in. He took the victim back inside the house where there was a second victim sleeping. The suspect took cash and personal items. He ordered both of the victims into the trunk of the vehicle in the garage and then fled on foot. The victims managed to escape the trunk and called police. The suspect was described as a male Black 30's, 6'2"-6'3", 230-250 lbs, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. August 7 (incidents are from shifts starting August 6): 11-227508, Shooting, 5300 block of Dunlay Dr, 2:35 p.m. A witness observed a male White subject walk up to a blue Lexus type vehicle and bang on the windows as if he was trying to get into car. The subject pulled out a gun, fired a couple of rounds through the window and he walked off. A second male White subject came up to the car and drove vehicle away prior to police arrival. 11-227646, Shooting, Northgate Blvd / Hwy 160 , 5:39 p.m. An argument began between a male and female. The female left but returned with 2 male Black adults.

The 2 males attacked the first male. One of them pulled a gun and hit the victim with it. The gun discharged when the suspect hit the victim with it, but no one was shot. Both suspects fled the scene in a turquoise Mercury Cougar. The suspects were described as #1 a male Black 40, 6'3", grey beard, wearing a red jersey and armed with a gun; suspect #2 a male Black or male Hispanic 30's, 6'1", light skinned, grey jersey with black stripes on side. The female was described as female Black adult, nothing further. 11-227678, Robbery, 2000 block of Arena Blvd, 6:24 p.m. The victim was outside using her Ipad. A male Black adult ran by, grabbed the Ipad from the victim's hands and jumped into a white sedan possibly a Chevy. No further information. August 5 (incidents are from shifts starting August 5): 11-225880, Robbery, 1200 block of Woodside Glen Way, 2344, Victim and the suspect arranged to meet for a sexual encounter. After they met, the suspect assaulted the victim and stole property. Investigation is ongoing. 11-226019, Suspicious Subject, 600 block of Rio Tierra Ave, 0320, A suspicious subject ran into a store and was possibly casing for a robbery per the caller. Officer located the subject and identified him. August 4 (incidents are from shifts starting August 3): 11-224468, Suspicious Circumstances, 600 block of Los Lunas Way, 1333, Officers responded to assist the fire department on a combative subject with a knife that needed to go to the hospital. Officers utilized the CED (Taser) and were able to detain the man. As soon as fire fighters administered medical aid, the subject became cooperative and was transported to the hospital without further incident. August 3 (incidents are from shifts starting August 2): 11-223650, Disturbance, 2000 block of W El Camino Ave, 1533, Subject became agitated and began threatening to kill his mother. The subject whipped his mother with a wire cord, extinguished a cigarette on her arm, and broke a glass and held the shard of glass as a weapon. Officers arrived and were able to detain Trujillo without incident and found him in possession of methamphetamines. Michael Trujillo 27 yrs old was booked for assault and possession of methamphetamine. 11-223867, Traffic Accident, Truxel Rd / Prosper Rd, 1933, Suspect vehicle ran a red light northbound Truxel Rd at Prosper Rd and collided into a red Nissan pickup truck occupied by a female. The female was transported for medical treatment with complaint of pain. The suspect vehicle fled but witnesses obtained the suspect vehicle plate while other witnesses followed the suspect vehicle to the area of the 1600 block of North Market where the suspects fled on

foot. The registered owner indicated her boyfriend had the vehicle, but then refused to provide further information. Investigation is ongoing. 11-223969, Assault, Sotano Drive/Beecham Ct, 2157, Call was received that there was someone shooting outside at time of call. Officers responded and located the intended victim who was not hit by gunfire. The victim was apparently drinking in front of the location when he got into an argument with someone and began a fist fight. During the fight, one of the suspects retrieved a gun and began shooting at the victim as he ran off. The location is a known gang affiliated house and none of the occupants admitted any knowledge to a fight or shots being fired. The suspect is a male Hispanic, 18-19 yrs old, with long hair, 5-9, 170 average build. Suspect vehicle was a silver car. August 2 (incidents are from shifts starting August 1): 11-222342, Robbery, 3800 block of Rosin Ct, 0910, The victim was robbed of his cell phone while standing talking on it in the parking lot. Officers responded and located a possible suspect. The subject was arrested for robbery. August 1 (incidents are from shifts starting July 31): 11-221716, Warrant Arrests, W. El Camino/E. Levee, 1757, Officers were looking for two known suspects with outstanding warrants. They attempted to contact them at a specific address but the suspects were not there. A short time later, both suspects were located at W. El Camino/E. Levee Rd. They were taken into custody without incident. Arrested were Steven Miller, 48, and Rene Sotelo, 49. 11-221803, Warrant Arrests, 2700 block of Erin Dr, 1911, Officers responded looking for a suspect, Robert Strong, 28, who had an outstanding warrant. Officers contacted the occupants of the residence, who exited the house but claimed that Strong was not there. Several announcements were made that the use of K9 was pending. Strong heard this and informed officers he would surrender. He exited his hiding place and was taken into custody without incident. July 31 (incidents are from shifts starting July 30): 11-221214, Home Invasion, 1900 block of San Juan Rd, 0315, Officers responded to the report of screaming and crying occurring at an apartment. Officers arrived and knocked on the door with no response. A key was obtained from the manager of the apartment complex. Upon entering the apartment to check the welfare of the resident, officers located two male suspects who had entered the victim's apartment to commit a home invasion. Arrested were a male Hispanic and Black in his 20's. July 30 (incidents are from shifts starting July 29): 11-219941, Shooting, Omalley Way / Fairweather Dr, 2313,

Officers responded to the area for reports of shots fired. Officers were unable to locate anyone or anything that had been shot. The suspect vehicle was described as a white SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade. July 27 (incidents are from shifts starting July 26): 1-216596, Assault, 1000 block of Garden Hwy, 1959, Two male juveniles were accosting people on the bike trail, trying to hit them with a bicycle. Officers located one of the suspects. He was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall. 11-216713, Robbery, 2400 block of Natomas Park Dr, 2212, The victim had some electronic equipment stolen from him. He found an ad in craigslist that he believed was his stolen property. He contacted the "seller" and made arrangements to meet. Once the victim saw the items, he realized it was his own property and confronted the "seller"/suspect. The suspect assaulted the victim and fled with the electronic equipment again. The suspect was described as a male Black 30s, 6'0", with a heavy build. The suspect vehicle was a grey 2 door Mercury. July 26 (incidents are from shifts starting July 25): 11-215812, Robbery, 2400 block of Northgate Blvd, 0207, The victim was approached by a male Hispanic adult on foot who attempted to rob him. The victim ran into the business and the suspect followed threatening the victim and the clerk inside the business with a knife. An officer happened to be passing by at that moment and observed the armed suspect. The officer quickly detained the suspect and secured the knife. The suspect, Rodolpho Rodriguez, 20, was booked for attempt robbery and for assault with a deadly weapon. July 25 (incidents are from shifts starting July 24): 11-214083, Warrant Arrest, 3800 block of Rosin Ct, 0913, Officers located and arrested Joe Mackey, 38, for an outstanding warrant. 11-214293, Suspicious Circumstances, Northgate Blvd / Del Paso Blvd, 1404, Officers responded to area underneath the freeway in response to a complaint of illegal camping. Twelve subjects were contacted and sent on their way. July 22 (incidents are from shifts starting July 21): 11-211099, Traffic Stop, Northgate Blvd / Rio Tierra Ave, 1336, Officers stopped and arrested a subject for methamphetamine and marijuana. The subject was taken into custody without incident. 11-211206, Stolen Property, 1800 block of Garden Hway, 1527, Officers and detectives recovered a

stolen boat that was listed on Craig's List. The suspect was not present however, the boat was recovered. The boat was stolen from Garden Hwy area but recovered in Sacramento County. July 21 (incidents are from shifts starting July 20): 11-210605, Suspicious Vehicle, 2000 block of Garden Hwy, 2331, Officers responded and located approximately 30 to 40 vehicles illegally loittering. Additional units responded to assist them and the area was cleared out without incident. 11-210706, Burglary, 3800 block of Gresham Ln, 0205, A neighbor noticed suspicious activity occurring. The garage door was open and lights were on in the house. The investigation revealed that a burglary had occurred and the victim's car had been stolen. 11-210718, Robbery, 2900 block of Yarwood Way, 0226, The victim was taking his garbage can down to the curb and was confronted by a male armed with a gun. The suspect walked him into and around the house looking for money and other items. The suspect was described as male Black 20's-30's, 6'0", dark skinned and muscular. 11-210756, Shooting, 2400 block of Seamist Dr, 0431, Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area. A vehicle, a white Nissan Maxima, was located with bullet holes. July 20 (incidents are from shifts starting July 19): 11-208912, Missing Person, 3400 block of La Cadena Way, 0857, An officer responded for follow-up on a14 year old missing person. The MP possibly left to be with her boyfriend. 11-209137, Disturbance, 4600 block of Natomas Blvd, 1306, Officers responded regarding a disturbance over petition signing. Both sides were advised. 11-209582, Large Party, 2700 block of Kalamer Way, 2205, A community member contacted the police department after seeing Facebook and Twitter activity about a possible large party occurring tonight involving alcohol and marijuana. Officers responded and found several people on scene with more arriving. They contacted the homeowner who opted to close down the party. Several party goers loitered in the street before actually leaving. Several officers responded to the area to disperse the crowd. 11-209720, Accident, 2500 block of Millcreek Dr, 0054,

Officers responded regarding a solo vehicle into a tree call. The driver, George Gomez, 45, was found to be DUI and arrested. The passenger in the vehicle fled prior to officer's arrival but was located on foot a block from the scene. Rachelle Lamb, 25, was found to have an outstanding warrant and was also arrested. July 19 (incidents are from shifts starting July 18): 11-208219, Burglary, 5300 block of E Commerce Way, 1409, Officers responded to suspicious circumstances of a male Black adult who was possibly casing the area. The Officers arrived and were checking the area for the suspect when they noticed an apartment window smashed. Officers saw the suspect inside another apartment via another smashed window. The suspect fled and officers chased, set up a perimeter, and K9 was called. The suspect was spotted in a field and taken into custody. A gun was found near him. July 18 (incidents are from shifts starting July 17): 11-207251, Burglary, 3000 block of Maybrook Dr, 1223, Neighbors witnessed subjects coming from the residence carrying electronic items and assumed they had just burglarized the house. Officer responded and confirmed the burglary. Witnesses observed some of the subjects run to a house on Kalamer. Officers responded and contacted 3 subjects matching the description. Officers located stolen property and arrested three juveniles, ages 16, 16, and 12. 11-207330, Burglary, 5300 block of E Commerce Way, 1431, Officers responded to a ringing alarm and determined that a burglary had occurred. 11-207605, Burglary, 2700 block of Millcreek Dr, 2032, Several calls were received from citizens regarding two suspects breaking the windows and entering the building. Patrol and AIR1 were able to respond quickly and detain the suspects. The suspects were not able to remove any items prior to our arrival but did gain entry and push over several chairs and pieces of furniture. Taken into custody were 2 female Hispanic juveniles. 11-207661, Domestic Dispute, 2000 block of San Juan Rd, 2144, The victim and suspect are no longer in a dating relationship. During an argument, over property being removed, the victim stated the suspect pulled a gun and threatened her. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect outside. They located a gun in the suspect's property. Arrested was Richard Delgado, 47. 11-207688, Robbery, 3700 block of Truxel Rd, 2217, Two male Hispanic juveniles walked into the business. One of them grabbed a pack of beer from the cooler and attempted to exit the store. The clerk grabbed the beer and the suspect struggled to maintain the beer. The other suspect brandished a knife or similar object at the clerk and threatened him. The clerk let go of the beer and the suspects left the store and fled on foot. Officers checked the area with

negative results. Activity Date/Time: Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:38 PM Service Area: 1A Neighborhood: Natomas Park Comments: Air1 is on scene checking for burglary suspects. Call Number: 11-203206 Occurence Date/Time: 07/13/11 1526hrs Offense: Burglary Location: North Park Dr/Loganberry Ct Service Area: 1A Narrative: A witness observed several male Black teens-early 20's carrying flat screen TV's from a residence. The subjects advised the witness that they were just moving out. They got into a 90's Green Ford Explorer and left the area. The witness then saw another male Black carrying another flat screen TV from the residence. That subject ran toward the back fence, dropped the TV, jumped the fence and got into a Turquoise Blue Ford Explorer that was parked on the street behind the residence. Call Number: 11-199498 Occurence Date/Time: 07/09/11 2237hrs Offense: Brandishing Location: 2800 block of Frigatebird Dr Service Area: 1A Narrative: The victims and their son got into an argument over his use of marijuana. The son threw a television at his dad and threatened to kill his parents while pointing/holding a rifle. The mother was able to get out of the house and call the police. The son came out after being told to do so over a PA. The son was taken into custody. A rifle was located in the house. Call Number: 11-198373 Occurence Date/Time: 07/08/11 2311hrs Offense: Pursuit Location: W National Dr / Sierra Point Dr Service Area: 1A Narrative: Officer observed several vehicles drive in an area is known for street racing. Officer observed several vehicles driving recklessly. He attempted to stop a dark mid 2000's Pontiac GTO that did not stop resulting in a pursuit. Officer cancelled the pursuit to avoid injuries to others after the driver began to drive extremely recklessly. Call Number: 11-196396 Occurence Date/Time: 07/07/11 0227hrs Offense: Stolen Property Location: 1500 block of Arcola Ave Service Area: 1A Narrative: Officers responded to reports of a subject possibly breaking into cars.
