partner, Canon U.S.A., Inc., has determined that this product meets the ENERGY STAR
Thank you for purchasing Canon Photo Paper Pro. Please read these instructions before"using
the paper.
Handling Precautions
When handling the paper, hold it by the edges and avoid touching the print surface. Dirt or
scratches on the print surface can impair print quality.
Avoid bending the paper, scratching it, or getting fingerprints on the print surface.
Cover unused paper with the protective sheet and return it to its package. Store the paper
away from high temperature, humidity and direct sunlight. Protect the paper against
accidental creasing during storage.
Printing Precautions
Avoid damaging the papers glossy surface.
If the paper is curled, flatten each sheet individually, taking care not to get fingerprints or dirt
on the paper.
Print on the glossy side of the paper.
Avoid printing under high temperature or high humidity conditions.
When paper does not feed properly, load one sheet of paper at a time.
If paper does not feed properly when printing with the BJC-8200/S800, clean the printer's
paper feed rollers using the Roller Cleaning Plate provided with the printer.
See the User's Guide provided with the printer for instructions on Roller Cleaning Plate.
To obtain higher print quality in the printer driver, select the High option (Fine with the
Macintosh) for Print Quality.
For details on print quality settings, paper loading instructions and printer driver settings,
refer to the User's Guide supplied with your printer.
About printed images
Allow the ink to dry completely after printing. (We recommend leaving printed images for
approximately 24 hours.) If images are placed in albums before they are completely dry,
images may bleed.
Avoid drying printed images with a hairdryer or in direct'sunlight.
Recommendations for print storage
Store your printed images in albums, clear photo sleeves, or glass frames to protect them
fro'm direct exposure to air.
* Storing prints in photo sleeves helps prevent fading.
Avoid using photo albums with self-adhesive pages, since prints cannot be easily removed
from such albums once they have been inserted.
When using photo albums with clear pockets, insert the print all the way into the pocket. With
some pocket-type photo albums and clear photo sleeves, the edges of the paper may turn
yellowish in colour over time.
Avoid storing prints in locations that are exposed to high temperature, high humidity, or direct
sunlight. Store prints at normal room temperature.
Avoid displaying or posting images outdoors or in areas that are exposed to direct sunlight.
This publication uses recycled paper.
